George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
some on here will have conveniently forgotten or don't know about that. I think there are few EU banks that have continued to kick the can down the road rather than deal with it, as we have. would not be surprised to see a failure
Some will be seasonal effects and some down to the BOE deliberately trying to spook the markets. The same Cassandras have been crying the top in the housing market for 30 years or more. I am sure there will be a slight correction but then I think it will be regional and property specific. There’s been a lot of speculative building in the big northern Cities as well south east London. These properties may no longer be bought off plan. On the other hand, with Sterling the way it is Asian interest may yet provide some support.
If energy prices continue to decline then markets will expect the FED to “pivot “ on interest rates in order to stave a of f a recession. This will put pressure on dollar cross rates and depending on what the hapless Bailey decides to do will impact Sterling. Mortgage rates have already begun to retrace and it may well be possible that the “catastrophic recession touted relentlessly by Labour and MSM may be shallow and short lived
AIM is the flippers paradise. Many on here take a small profit when they see one. Most of this goes to pay the broker for whom its win-win
This is of course the reality in the EU and far from the vision painted by the die hard Remainers. Additionally overlooked in this country in particular was the lack of adequate liquidity buffers in some of the pension funds causing the “near collapse “ of our financial system and forcing a “rescue mission” by the BOE. Anyway we’re all going to pay lots of tax and watch the economy shrivel as the BOE and Opposition want. Life in the newest of province of Albania
It’s probably because most of todays economists listen to the BBC to get their forecast. Energy prices are falling out of bed so the cost of Govt support will be much less than anticipated. Unfortunately we have an individual with lack of vision at the helm at the BOE holding our country back
