Option A: selling Tik Tok without their recommendation algorithm is a way of getting around China's export control rules. Microsoft et al could develop an algorithm in a few weeks no doubt but there would almost certainly be issues, possible delay, loss of users and brand risk. This alongside the initially limited user base would make Triller with their existing multinational user base and their own algorithm, the only logical buyer.
Alternative B. China relax their controls and the highest bidder wins.
Option C and D involve transition periods or licensing out the algorithm - both have messy political implications which can be avoided with a straight forward, non messy Triller purchase
My guess is A, unless there's an E I've not thought of!

Graphite is key to the predicted rapid growth electric vehicle / electric storage requirements. Experienced team. Barring a disaster there's only one way this is going.
