well the Chinese are even printing money now to help liquidity - at least they have demand for new money - gold could come back so quick it will make your head spin - my opinion would be buy gold related stocks from gold prices $1200 down to $720 if it ever gets there cos the charts of most decent miners are looking more positive and as a hedge against inflation.

it's the business rates Monty our councils that set business rates have never been regulated and allowed to simply increase business rates each year with absolutely no thought or concern for businesses struggling in today's growing online trend. To preserve what is left of the high street we need to rethink business rates urgently cos they are now three times what you can achieve for rental value in our little town. It's self fulfilling cos it's precisely because of the incredible rates bill that no one wants to rent business property hence lots of business properties were empty. Then to address this problem those naturally clever people at the doe who set our rates decided to make the property owners pay FULL rates for shops even if empty!! So now property owners have to destroy their property to get out of paying £12000 and up per year for no services at all! (you have to leave the property unusable) result - a town center that looks like a war zone - no roofs and no hope of ever having businesses return to the street. - oh and no rates being paid at all. Do you know whats even funnier the naturally clever people at the council have just spent hundreds of thousands of £s on posters to stick on the Windows of the shops to simulate what they looked like with businesses running in them. then you look up and there's no roof! - very clever!

are opened below that lower channel line c90p (but that's time dependent of course i.e. it's a descending channel ) if it broke the lower line then we're in uncharted territory

no market price reflects what is going on with a Company at a point in time. when the news broke about the Irish situation the price banged off the 101 support - a bounce was a forgone conclusion as many buy limits kicked in there. Where are we now? -- back at support -- there's another support at 97 and then there's the lower channel line around 90p I believe this will at least make it to there. The rns said the going will be tough over the next few months even with no storms or adverse weather conditions -- we've just had a pretty bad storm -- was the first drop an over reaction?

I completely agree markets don't overreact they move because something is going on -- good or bad -- apart from all that criminal action the last report was bad and the outlook near term (from the report itself) wasn't good either

won't hold this time me thinks -- 151 next decent support -- just can't think of a reason why 170 should hold now

first stop if it goes through there 90p -- if that goes its tin hat time -- hit the bunker and stay down till the wars over

might be tosh if it turns at 170 now but with a gloomy few months ahead (that last rns looked a bit panicy too me) I don't think 170 will hold this time -- that's just my opinion and may be wrong if there's takeover talk but think that's been and gone now judging by the price movement alone

how it behaves itself at that point -- it would be sensible to put half your budget for lad on at 151 or there abouts and save the other if it falls on through to 117 (if your a day trader you'll need stops in place cos if it falls through there then expect 117p) I'm not a day trader so I'd opt for a 2 or 3 tranch strategy to lessen the risk (I'm not too good with risk and too much tends to cloud my judgement) then you have to remember about resistance at 170 area on the way back up -- if it looks weak there then sell and take profit if the lads fortunes have improved then hold for 190's again timescales -- this is traditionally a bad time from start of Oct till about March for bookies so I'd wait probably next summer before selling. nothing is set in stone and you gotta use all your senses -- sometimes, like everyone else, I get it wrong so use money commensurate with the risk.
