if we don't get to buy any of the new shares then the price wont move too much -- but -- generally if share holders like yourself get "an option' to buy shares at a discount to the price when the option is given more than often the sp will drop below that discounted price and you will buy even cheaper than the offer price at some point after the offer time.

on my account --- phew! but even if it were to drop I'd have doubled up so bitter sweet. Hope to see up near the 170p at least -- then we will have another look but thinking of just holding this for the long term if the yield stays above 8.9p

starting to think it will be ok -- the proof will be if they hold the divi then we'll know if all is well -- like I said 151 is a sensible entry (with an almost 6% divi) and have a tranch for 117 if it happened and then would just wear 95p and let it ride. I think there would need to be something else wrong to take it further than the 150 area though so not holding my breath for 117 -- if it recovers from here that's my trade done if not I'll have more. Lad will adjust to whatever has happened and recover eventually, that's what they do.

maybe a longer term target but if they cut divi I wouldn't be surprised -- for now my target is 151 with a not too greedy 153 buy so my broker gets time to sort it out. I've set the buy order at target in the past and have seen the price fall just below but no trigger so I set it with a margin of error to ensure the buy -- wouldnt do for a day trader but works for me -- same with getting out - give yourself room.

we can only wait to see what happens at 151 next level down was 117 as I remember but don't think things are all that bad but we'll see.

sure as there's a sun - just hope it doesn't fall on through - then it's about 120p can't really see it happening but will have another tranch for that if it does.
