It is a shame these fund managers/ directors share holdings are not announced by RNS as they would then be picked up by LSE and ADVFN. Any positive good news is brought to a wider market so underpinning the share price. This is the answer from Helen at IR when I queried why...

The acronyms are all regulatory news wire providers approved by the London Stock Exchange – saying RNS is a bit like using “Hoover” for a vacuum cleaner! PRN is PR Newswire. MFN is Modular Finance news etc. RNS are not a monopoly. They are all regulatory news announcements. I have pointed it out to our secretariat team but its really an issue with London South East and ADVN to access all the regulated news wire services.

Most other companies issue an RNS when fund managers increase or decrease their holdings in a company as UBS has again today.

Capita never does this but announces it after the market closes through an MFN so the likes of Advfn , London south east, etc never show this news. I cannot understand why they report this way maybe it comes down to cost.
