This is why I can see HUM buying back the dugbe licence from VEIN as it may well be the cheaper option over fighting the dilution via participation.

This is why imo... Dugbe will be developed with debt.

Approx 80 million equity will be required for a 320 million loan.

VIEN will be responsible for raising the adequate equity which will infact dilute all shareholders, should VEIN be in a position where they can't raise said loan equity then it would be upto HUM to take further control of VIEN in exchange for funding the equity or HUM agree to sell Dugbe to a larger party who can further develop it.

We do not own 51% of vein's issued equity and contrary to a few posts in here, we can't sell down any vein shares as we did with cora, simply because we don't own any.

The mining licecence for dugbe was transferred to Arx, a joint venture company 51% owned by HUM and 49% owned by vein.

Each party is therefore responsible for their own share of costs, any placings undertaken by vein therefore dilute the equity of vein and not their ownership of the JV.

well you can raise equity via dilution to spend on assets I suppose but then that just dilutes the eps and over inflates the value of a company. Hence your pump and dumps at 5h1t hole companies full of rampers who don't understand valuation ratios.

Ramp dilute, rinse repeat. Loads of them about if people prefer.

In total for 4 years of production the retained earnings stands at circa 130 million dollars. Loan was used to purchase assets that produced fcf and earnings that paid off the debt. Once the debt is paid off the plant is a NET asset, as is the expansion of the resources from the prevailing drilling campaigned again funded by yanfolila FCF. These are called retained earnings, you can't accrue net assets without being profitable.

Ps 2021 will see a reversal to the tune of circa 6-7 million, because more was spent in 2021 than retained
