Would imagine it takes a while to for a well to clear liquids, slugging, etc, before it its optimum flow rate? The good new is that there is something arriving at the terminal....bit more patience required!
Export started circa 10am yesterday.....followed by ESD testing.....further tests pending.....not sure the company would want to report production until a reasonable flow rate has been achieved (more than one well online). What's the point of releasing an RNS if there is no optimum flow rate numbers in the data to satisfy the analyst's?
Like kids in the back of a car.....are we there yet....are we there yet....
Good things come to he/she who waits!!
Start-up activities continue. Water has been removed from the MeOH pipeline and the export gas pipeline and platform back-gassed with hydrocarbons from the onshore terminal. A mixture of nitrogen/methane in the export pipeline is being vented from the platform. Once this has been completed the 1st well will be opened. Presume the venting has to go through some analyzer to confirm it is to the correct spec (nitrogen/methane free) before the terminal will accept any export from the platform.
Yup 0.70%
Captain Kirk of starship Chrysaor has blasted off into the universe......Captain Cook of her good ship Harbour is at the helm
Imminently
Tolmount expected to add 15kboepd to full year production....not sure what this equates to in terms of SP change.
Approximately two weeks
Back gassing (packing of pipeline) to the terminal started in early April.....next stage is onto production.....enjoy
SK....no amount of Government pressure is going to impact the commissioning phase....Safety is paramount....even though this is a Normally Unmanned Installation, the initial phase of the commissioning/operation/maintenance will need a manned crew....a major accident can have massive reputation/financial impact on a producer.....ask BP. I presume you are a platform design engineer based on your comment "simplest facility"?
I cannot see an RNS being issued yet....the next stage is the pressurize the export pipeline/platform using hydrocarbons from the terminal.
Platform handed over to ODE (Operator)
There was NO chance of any RNS regarding Tolmount today.....not sure where the individual was getting their info from!!!!
Tick.....tock.....tick.....tock
No takers?....tut....tut....Ye of little faith!!
Item 1 - Tolmount - predictions for the date of 1st production this month?
Expected finalization of the commissioning activities in preparation of handover to the Operator (ODE). A multi-discipline crew will remain alongside the platform on the support vessel to provide ongoing technical/production support. Anticipated Q1 delivery target as per previous communications from the company.
