Am I right in thinking that its only IG that offer this, and that rather than a % of shares, it's actually a reflection of the numbers of people using that platform in order to trade that way?
My reason for asking is that the Short Interest Tracker site shows no shorts. Therefore my thinking is that only a very small amount of shares are involved.
I have a feeling that it could be spreadbetters rather than open shorts.

This is well worth an hour or so of a shareholders time.
On the company website there is a presentation by the CEO and CFO, followed by a Q&A session with the likes of Berenburg etc.
It's in the investors section, under presentations and reports.

After I first read the Rns this morning, I was quite happy because I thought that everything is moving forward, but not as fast as I'd hoped. I thought the share price might take a hit.
BUT, after reading it a couple of times more, listening to the podcast, and reading the notes of those who attended the AGM, I'm absolutely chuffed to bits.
I think that the potential has just gone up a few notches.
It would be nice to see some decent II's moving in. Perhaps they already are.

That was a good listen.
I wonder just how big the China setup will be once its all sorted.
It seems to be growing as various pieces are put in place.

BiGT would be given the shares out of those held in reserve. I imagine that if us PI's were to be given an opportunity to participate, then there could be a Primary Bid offer. If the Chinese pay a premium, then I guess that there would'nt be much point in PI's participating.
This is why it would be good to get the deal done before the Agm, so that a new provision of shares could be made for the next year, without having to have an Egm at some point.
Thats how I view it, but others on here might well have a better understanding.

BIGT won't achieve their aims by buying in the open market. it would be counterproductive to having an agreement and opening facilities in China.

With regard to the new broker, it only feels like yesterday that we had the likes of WH Ireland manipulating the share for their mates.
I agree Brassneck, a brokers note would be great. berenberg certainly know a lot about the company following Ibiza and the arch showcase day. But how they would put a price on Vrs....I don't know!!
