Jangada Mines plc ("Jangada" or "the Company"), a natural resources company, is pleased to announce that it was notified on 3 February 2020 that Executive Chairman Brian McMaster and Non-Executive Director Luis Azevedo have each purchased 1.4 million ordinary shares in the share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 1.8p in an off-market transaction.

Following this purchase, Mr McMaster's total beneficial ownership in the Company is 55,244,467, which represents 23.3% of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Azevedo's total beneficial ownership in the Company is 54,066,667, which represents 22.8% of the Company's issued share capital.

This is a proper company NOT some "idea" that may 10 bag in a week, so you choose: You buy 80% lower than when Brian McMaster put in over £700,000 or you don't, its that simple. NO BODY is more motivated than Mr McMaster to get this share price up to the late teens again believe me!

As I am sure you saw on the HMI twitter feed, it was (luckily) very good to see that no part of the business was affected by the horrific floods in the region. Harvest are at High altitude and the additional drainage installed last year meant there was no impact to the company.

...The reason being is obviously the BOD do not engage with these "sites" as they, quite rightly, are busy running the company!

I noticed you had a few questions about said company, so I forwarded them on to the company directly. If you would rather meet/speak to the company directly (as has been suggested) then please contact them direct and cut me out the loop. Moving forward I would just suggest (for any body actually) they contact the Company direct and NOT just air false or misleading statements on these type of forums as that is "market abuse" as defined by the FCA

Union Jack Oil, the UK-focused onshore hydrocarbon producer, last week confirmed it had obtained planning permission for the development of an oil field in North Lincolnshire.

David Bramhill, the executive chairman of Union Jack, said his board was “delighted” to have won permission for the development of Wressle Oil Field from the Planning Inspectorate following a successful appeal. Union Jack has a 27.5 per cent interest in the joint venture licences for Wressle Oil Field.

Bosses at Georgia-focused oil and gas company Block Energy might well be perplexed by a fall in the company’s share price this week.

In an operations update issued on Monday morning, 27 January, chief executive Paul Haywood boasted that Block is “hitting the ground running as we enter 2020”.

Updating investors on operational performance at its West Rustavi field, Block revealed that multi-race production testing is underway at its WR-38Z well, following a clean-up period to stabilise it and recover fluids that were lost during drilling, and that it has so far recorded peak production rates in excess of 550 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

However, by the end of the week Block’s share price had fallen to 4p – down more than 20 per cent in the week.
