I think if you read again it says 14.65 a few times and refers to being undervalued to current SP by 73%. The SP will hit these levels again, I am sure if that, it might take a few years, but we were at £10 in Feb this year.

Boohoo has followed the same SP trend over the last month reaching highs in 1st September and dropping back steadily since. Overlap the two charts and they are 1:1 identical. Is Asos dropping because of potentially bad results or a delay in results? Or is it sector specific and worsening macros/news/further interest rate rises? We are all guessing and there’s an argument both long and short. I’m long, not for weeks or months but for future years, massive buys from the big three players recently is good enough for me.

Jeremy Hunt reiterated that UK inflation will half by the end of the year. Article on Bloomberg this weekend. Macro’s definitely improving, rate hikes coming to end, lots to be positive about over the coming weeks. I’m sure a lot of people will be positioning themselves before results.

A 10%+ rise has nothing to do with the general market or improving macros, BOO is only up 4% & THG 1% and other non related high risk stocks like AML 1%.

This is 100% specific to ASOS and something is going on! Shorts closing? One of the big 3 players loading up, leak of news/results/forward guidance or upcoming surprise RNS, this could very quickly go to 500. Just look at how quickly it dropped from 750 down to 375 in just 4 weeks from beginning May to beginning June. This could double from here on rumour, shorts closing, RNS or results in October.

Bad headline for physical stores but positive for online retailers in the sector.

Whole market is strong today, with a sea of green across the board, Boohoo up 2% THG up 5% and ASOS down again… seriously for whatever reason Asos is a real dog, with no momentum and August/summers thin trading liquidity it doesn’t feel like this will break through 400 again. I think the next 3 months will be bouncing around the bottom of 350-380. So disappointed with this his in my portfolio, wish I had the conviction to sell out, swallow the loss and move on.

In total 850’000+ shares traded after the UT! Shorts down to 1.17%… I can see all meaningful shorts closed by the end of next week, zero resistance from now… any positive macro, economic, sector or company specific news this will rocket. Just 5 months ago this was over £10.

So Thursday is positive, the turn around cost cutting plan is on track, the company reports they are finally profitable and the SP moves back to levels seen just a few weeks ago and then next quarter we rejoin the FTSE250. I’m not buying into a take over in the same way I’m not buying the bankruptcy scaremongering.

Maybe by stopping at 9.9.% he forces the hand of anyone looking to make a bid to do it sooner rather than later. If any potential bidder is worried that MA might block any offer by owning exactly 9.9% they would be forced to show their hand. Maybe we are reading far to much into this but, isn’t it all just one big game of chess.

Corrupt, that’s what this is… tell me how 310% of normal daily trade volumes has been achieved 2.4m shares in 30 mins and the share price drops and keeps dropping? Who is selling these shares at these prices and how can so many shares be bought in 30 mins and the SP doesn’t rocket?!? Manipulation and corruption at its finest… we are all getting screwed over, shorts close no SP positivity, massive buys going through no SP positivity. Maybe someone cleverer than me can explain this, what am I missing?

So it seems over the last 48 hours the board has done from positivity to a distinct negative tone. With people talking about the SP dipping to the 2’s and maybe staying where where are if good news comes out. With MA buying up more causing concerns of him buying the business out of administration for pennies.

If any of us believed even 25% chance of this happening we would all should all sell our holding now cut our huge losses and walk away to fight another day.

There’s not going to be any RNS and we will all wait for the next set of results which could go either way, a coin flip.

Investing is certainly a rollercoaster but the house always wins and we are fed what they want us to believe and think whilst manipulating the SP. I hate to say this but ASOS might not be a going concern after the next set of results if they continue to lose money.

Will ASOS be forced to release an RNS now the share price has moved +10% like THG did at 11am? Maybe confirming last Decembers approach but importantly that there potentially could be others now in the mix formulating bids/offers/take overs.

Or maybe as per usual zero RNS from ASOS and we rise in continued rumours and speculation. Either way it will be interesting to see the short figures reducing further over the coming days, could we see less than 1% short interest by Friday?
