Cap...., if that was the case, why would they allow him to stay on for so long? If he was that bad, how could he be entrusted to facilitate a smooth transition?
We need to get real and stop this puerile character assassination.
Incidentally, adjusted earnings increased by over £8million to over £33million in H1 which is a c33% improvement!
The future looks bright with a bidding pipeline measured in £billions.
Am glad I have no automatic stop losses on this but will continue on the path of regular top-ups at regular intervals to smooth out these unfathomable blips.
Quite correct AlfredoJr. Chucking in the towel now and behaving like lemmings is totally irrational given the potential £billions contracts in the pipeline. I guess most of the sales have been automatically triggered by pre-set stop-losses and the concomitant snowball effect.
Opportunities are opening up for many waiting in the wings for things to settle down imv.
Excessive pessimism and knee-jerk reactions feeding off each other here imo. The results are positive overall but many seem hacked off due to no imminent dividend. Am happy that having been successfully saved from the brink of bankruptcy and transformed into a viable and streamlined company for future growth, the board are being prudent in deferring the implementation of divis for a couple of years. Once the dust settles though and more rational assessments are made, the SP will recover to a realistic level imo.
I knew exactly what you meant JG68. The anger I expressed was directed at the perpetrators of those despicable actions that has caused so much unnecessary damage to the world let alone to the fortunes of Capita plc. Your posts are spot on though and genuinely valued.
'Ukraine messed everything up'.
NO, Russia messed everything up by invading a peaceful nation.
And it was Russia who hacked into Cpi's servers and stole confidential data.
So Russia messed everything up twice over. Let's never forget.
Finally you've belatedly decided to catch the bus. I was beginning to think you had NO FARE NOFEAR!
You're welcome on board but this time don't alight until it's arrived at it's destination!
I reckon Capita has improved it's position significantly since 12 months ago. The problem is the difficult macro-economic environment hasn't helped one jot in addition to the cyber-hack panic damaging sentiment and unfairly knocking back the SP. Holders that have been able to top up and take advantage of these depressed valuations, (myself included), will probably look back in a years time and be grateful for the current opportunity to fill our boots.
I need £6 p/sh here to be a millionaire unfortunately! I think I've got more chance of finding a Harrison Chronometer at a jumble sale! But I'd be happy enough Cashola with your £1.50. I'd take a quarter of £1m here all day long!
In my opinion, they are nothing but parasites. Seizing on any opportunity to claw some filthy lucre from an unfortunate situation regardless of the damage they'll inflict on a British company employing thousands. But do you think the perpetrators of the data exfiltration will be served papers? Of course not. Theirs is the sort of mindset that would happily defend the likes of the Yorkshire Ripper and the Moors Murderers for the filthy lucre imo.
