SP is holding up exceptionally well despite all the worldly doom and gloom, and biased and inaccurate fake news reporting. This is most encouraging going forward and demonstrates the underlying strength of Cpi Plc, I feel.

@Trenners, Good luck with that! I only have 23,000 cpi so you still hold almost double my amount. Like you, I enjoy c£25,000 divi per annum ,though in Aviva plc. I'm reluctant to pour more into Cpi as one has to eat. That said, Cpi does have the potential to triple or even quadruple. If that materialises and housebuilders are still in the doldrums, I'd be tempted to then cash in the Capita chips and invest in a spread of housebuilders in time for their cyclical upswing. Gla and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

@Trenners , If you have as you now say £120,000 invested here, that suggests you hold approx. 40,000 shares. If that is the case, based on your historic posts, it seems you must have liquidated a huge amount of your previous holding,perhaps anticipating acquiring those same shares at a much lower price. If so, that could explain the tone of some of your recent postings. Whatever is the case, I wish you to do well in your endeavours.

4.29% Shorts is diddly-squat compared to 95% Longs. Actually 100% Longs since Shorters sell to Longs and hope to buy the shares back cheaper.

They don't just pick Cpi though. They Short lots of companies actually, knowing that some picks will backfire, hoping to be correct more times than wrong. A bit like Longs spreading the risk but only in the opposite direction.

If I get to meet him/them, it certainly will not be their bread that I shall break.

Selling a major part of the causes of the business' annual losses is a very good news story. And future payments of c£40million-£60million is most welcome. The real news story is that 'Sunlit' has a propensity to talk out of his Aspidistra.
