The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Rounding it all up, it ALL translates to what is now a totally undermined asset, OK for "them" useless/no upside value to "Retail" punters, and that will likely be the case for the remaining life of SLBY.
The "only" potential interest remaining in Angus is what happens at Balcombe !! we wait with GREAT anticipation !!
I don't know Ocelot, I don't waste my life listening to jack off webinars & interviews, they are for those that enjoy being pumped, I prefer to stick to the realities of the industry, for which I don't need his fortune telling stuff for.
""We know that we can run mature assets well. We have a lot of experience in field rehabilitation and mature field management, ""
Yeah, that's great Richard, BUT there is no point being good at something if you cannot do it in a way that is economical, doesn't involve payday debt, doesn't dilute the daylights out of it to get there, and tell lies along the way.
Mature/depleted fields are plentiful, the problem as always is the easy stuff is long gone, the remaining stuff will always be borderline on if it can be recovered with a profit fact !!!
What it will do is always give enough for THEM to keep their lights on and salaries covered, fact !!
As for anything that may additionally exist at SLBY, well one thing is certain, it will not be cheap to find out... they have first hand experience at THAT !!
Gezzzz I am GLAD this is off his ermmm free lunch bucket list, as anything he puts out there is nearly always sold down, working for the inner circle !!! Basically do the opposite of what he suggests lol...
Well it costs about 60p for a roll of Andrex super quilt bog paper, 235 sheets per roll, that's about 0.25p per sheet so it's about 4 x cheaper to use UKOG shares on a roll to wipe yer butt than Andrex...
3 times more buyers than sellers yet we are down 13.5%
Uncleal,
If there were 3 X more buyers it would NOT be down 13.5%, you simply look at the automated buys & sells, when in reality they often set the spread deliberately skewed to throw sells on the wrong side of the mid point, thus it'll show as a buy. same if they want to play with buys the other way....
Bottom line is it's worthless, and they are working stock "out" for someone !!!
I personally feel it is 95% nailed on OK and the appeal will fail.
SB,
For all GL's woe's, he certainly managed to stimulate it enough to get it in the mid 2p's at one point, before then diluting it to death and undermining it completely. He did well for me !!
It is exactly why I don't long term minnows like this, just play the main event/s, in the last near 20 years of doing junior oils, I cannot see one, not a single one that has ever held on to it's gains, and I have seen plenty go from part penny to pounds, and ALL have eventually either disappeared or now sit back in the pennies or part pennies.
There will be one or two exceptions out there, but that is luck of the draw !!
I would much rather the concise, boring RNS over their historical RNS's of conditional verbs
SB,
Each to their own, but it won't stimulate the market, just turns it into sleepy hollow !! as with the number of trades so far on an RNS day !!
Nhawan,
Who said it was negative ?? not me, though I would be more inclined to say that the RNS is a lot of nothingness really, It isn't negative, but about as interesting as watching a snail race !! or reading your desperate posts lol...
Neg heads out again!
>>BLAME those who make the decisions, the market simply votes with it's feet, fact !!
>Operational efficiency was 92% (up from 87% for the fourth quarter 2023)
>> So nothing much to report on that front, a micro improvement on efficiency, even with only one compressor.
>Gas condensate (liquid) production averaged 128 bbl/day
>> Nothing changed there, means that this is "currently" likely the limit of liquids the plant can cope with, Vs gas.
> Full compressor service completed "A" and "B"
>> Good to know after the event !!! you would be surprised at how much it costs in the long run when you run 2nd hand compressors like these, specially when you add up days of lost production, very expensive in the long run. but heyyy !!
>2.30 mm therms per month against hedged volumes of 1.5 mm therms
>> and ???
>Rig Q2 to reinstate production from the Brockham 2Y well
>>> ZZZzzzzzzzzz as said, a lot of effort and cost for marginal gains at best, BUT better than it stagnating.
All on the back of the Hedge dropping again in June and then just 12 months before current Hedge expires.
Ehhhhhhhh,,, they are under Trafigura and their ermmmm hedge,, I mean terms !!!
AND there lies the current problem, "it seems OK" !!
Nothing to wake up and get excited about, and the market is displaying that. In fact I would almost go as far as to say that whomever actually wrote that RNS has written it in such a minimal and boring way that it reads like they hate the market, the punters and those that have pretty much worked them out.
I don't think Brockham is enough of a potential driver for anything, better than it doing nothing, but likely a lot of effort & cash for a very small reward. NOW if they said Balcombe, instead of Brockham, then I might have felt a tinsy little spark of hmmmmmmmmmm,, ner mind, one day rodders.
""SDX SP pretty much neutral on spud news.""
Hardly surprising really, not the most inspiring outfit !!
I see little reason to jump back in at the moment Barney, it may fluctuate a little but until there is more meat on the bone as to what and when their next move is, how they are funding it and some kind of timeline then I got better fish to fry right now .
I keep watching though, it will have it's day again at some point.
What's going on here, has Singhie even given up posting his page long blurb with the daily rates ?? must be still weak on flows, nothing to see here Gov !!! move on !!!
No Different to Leni "laughing" Gas, they have both spent the last 10-15 years almost blatantly disrespecting the retail market and using it as an "easy" money route for their so called "projects", which pretty much result in a lot of nothingness and retail punters wondering how it could all possibly have gotten to this state of affairs.
That said, their salaries mean they don't need to do much, sit back, keep dunkin the hobnobs !! happy days !! The mugs will keep coming back for more !!!
I am not convinced that PRD will use the rig for MOU 5 until they have at least got the testing on the other well/s sorted out via sandjet or whatever they feel will resolve their issues. seems a bit too over exposed if they go on to drill a 3rd well without getting to grips with 3 & 4 first. Also I would expect Star Valley would simply shift another rig in if they deemed it necessary.
Gezzzz Smyth, are you the sort that wakes up EVERY day with a face like thunder and a mood to match ??
Drilling ALWAYS runs on investor stop watch time !! pmsl !!
They will get drilling as soon as they are ready, and I am pretty sure that Spud is unlikely "before" end of Ramadan, so
imo early next week they should kick off !!
""Good to see production is steady at 44bopd""
Yeah yeah,,, IT'S REFLECTED IN THE SHARE PRICE !!!!
""In webinar said share price extremely low and yet it's fallen even lower since?""
Yeah, I had a Z900 motorbike that I thought was worth a million, but reality is it is ONLY worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and in Angus case 0.03-0.04p or there about's.
