No sob story here son, just stating facts about enduring a torrid 11 days with the family having COVID and namely omicron.

I have a wonderful family who I love dearly, a great job, brilliant friends and a very enjoyable social and sporting outdoor life.

I trade the swings with enq for a bit of fun and to pay for the day trips, holidays, experiences abd a few luxuries.

Emotional intelligence, humility and empathy are your greatest assets if only Boris had that and a few others here.

Gradually feeling a bit brighter.
Advice is just do everything to avoid it. I normally do 50-100 miles on my bike. The thought of a spin around the block fills me with dread.

Thought about buying at 18.4 and held off. Ftse at 7300 god knows how and enq barely moved from a Brent price of 69-76.

Still being patient and will enter shortly at sub 17.5.

We do not see us leaving the house for a further week as we are all still so unwell.

Krak and Romaron our original PCR tests were never tested for omicron we were sent postal PCR tests due test for Omicron.

They are extremely late to the party. This variant has been in the country for at least 3 weeks. The first cases in Africa were 7 weeks ago.

Krak it has spread like wildfire and they shut their school.
Remember it takes at least 3-4 days to get the results (we are hearing that it could be upto 7 days) from the lab as to whether
it’s delta or omicron.

It is dreadful with flu symptoms a fast heartbeat and sinus headache.
The good thing is we have experienced no breathing or respiratory issues.

We are still isolating and need to do so until the last person in the house shows no symptoms.

The cases are way over 5000 we reckon as they have only just started properly testing in the last week and it is taking upto 7 days to get the result.

My son contracted in school and first showed symptoms on the 29th quickly followed by my wife, they tested positive the following day. Me and my daughter were negative I then started to feel unwell and did another PCR which was positive a few days after. Further PCR tests were then sent as our symptoms were different to delta. These went to a lab (took 3 days) and we had the call from the Ukhsa that it was omicron.

450 cases I don’t think so the first case was actually detected 3 weeks ago in London.
3-4 days to get a lab test back we are at 5,000 at least by now.

We live in a village very close to a well known formula 1 team.

Well it seems we were one of a select bunch to get omicron, courtesy of our little ones. I tell you this it’s not pleasant in the slightest and both me and the wife are double vaccinated.

Been spaced out for a while now but managed a tidy trade on ted baker.

Looking forward to getting back in here when circa 17.5-18.

Is ripping through the schools I know as we are isolating until next Thursday with two of my family who have awful flu like symptoms :-(
