Oxford is in final stages of stage 3 and even the FDA has removed the pause, Pfizer is almost there albeit with very cold conditions that I am told can be dealt with with dry ice. Scottish, GSK all sorts of others. I predict there will be at least 10 to 15 competitors by July.

Well Coyote one of the things looked at in Stage 3 trials is side effects. As we know there was the bump in the road over the Oxford one. Remember stage 3 covers 40000 people or so. In Italy all medicines give side effects reported and the percentage chance. It should not need further road testing on the hoof as it were. I think you are being unduly pessimistic.

Well there is one mutation which is less virile than the main one and is I blieve covered at least by the Oxford vaccine. The mink mutation in Denmark looks far more serious to me.

Mr Costs. The piece about Brit Govt orders for vaccine was on BBC news in July. The Indepemdant has today pointed out the Oxford vaccine can be stored at 2c to 8 c so much less complicated than Pfizer.

As I say France, Spaim, Germany have pre ordered but the rest of EU squabbled so much no order placed.
