Maybe this didn't help, https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-banks/rbs-lloyds-shares-fall-after-bank-of-england-stress-tests-idUKKBN1YL0U0
Believe me when Cameron offered the country a referendum I did not hear one of my family or circle of friends say they would vote remain, my son in law comes from Pontefract/Featherstone area where the vast amount voted leave.
Very few Labour MPs supported their constitutes voters, and in my case my MP replied to my Email by saying she could not support a deal that would lose some of her constituents jobs and make all poorer, even though we voted 54.2% to leave.
Needless to say my reply was that my vote would not be cast for her, unfortunately we could not overturn a 7,000 majority although it didn't help when the leave vote was split as both the Tories and Brexit part y stood in our constituency, slit vote sadly.
Boris won Northern based Labour voters over who would never have voted for any other party before (believe me I'm one on them) people say can he be trusted, I asked that very question before I cast my vote.
As a Labour Leave voter I had to decide who would deliver on that very important Referendum vote, it was never in doubt, a Corbyn win and he would have negotiated a deal so watered down most wouldn't think we were leaving, and to also say he was Brexit neutral when the General Election was all about Brexit was a stupid comment to make.
Will Boris deliver? as a past Labour supporter I wouldn't have trusted any Tory but I actually do believe he will deliver and give the North a better deal, if not he may find himself out of a job as the buck stops at No 10

You say 55.3 if boris, gets his overal majority.
How do you come to that conclusion, surely if Corbyn were to win the banks would suffer, after all the Labour party are the ones threatening a windfall tax on the financial institutions ?.

Is this the next PPI or a scam ?.
What's driven the SP up today ?, Farage saying he will only stand Brexit candidates in constitutes where the Tories didn't win, a very good call IMO although some are saying he's letting brexiteers down, on the contrary he's giving the leavers a better chance of getting a better brexit deal if Boris and the Tory party need The Brexit parties MPs in a coalition.
You would hope the final cost of PPI has been priced in, but as Victor Blank has posted the MBNA defaults are increasing.
and car finance loans defaults are increasing with Lloyds being at the forefront with regards lending.
With bad figures net week could this share be back in the low 50s ?.
pastyc quotes :
Twist it all you want..
The present EU is what the Common Market has evolved into.. And it's fine by me and the now majority of the Country..
Of course there are always the xenophobic, little Englanders who will see it in a different light.
The "common market" that we voted for in 1975 has morphed in the present EU because no political party ever offered the electorate the chance to change it FACT.
I'm not sure you're "now majority of the Country" is correct, but if the likes of yourself and obviously the majority of UK citizens really believe that lets put it to the UK electorate in a general election, I find it strange that the opposition parties are not banging on Boris's door to ask him to get the wheels in motion, I can assure you in Yorkshire as a whole Labour will be wiped out, gone are the days of the big Northern City's voting en-block for Labour.
Then try and make your point more valid by quoting " xenophobic, little Englander's who will see it in a different light", it's a wonder you didn't repeat the common theory the brexiteers didn't know what they were voting for.
Surely your not trying to imply what is now the EU and all that goes with it is anything like what we (yes I voted to join a Common Market free trade) vote for in 1975 pastyc, you even make the mistake commenting "It would be a 3rd referendum actually!.
I along with 68% of the electorate voted to be part of the EU in 1975." its not the same animal even you can work that out ?.
I do believe the vote in Northern Ireland was to remain in the EU snige, so maybe they won't mind.
I don't think any deal that is offered to the likes of Labour, green, Lib/Dem's, Change , SNP and any other party I've missed will be acceptable they do not want us to leave the EU fact, some want another referendum before a General Election, talk about covering their arses, b@stards the lot of em :-((
Well at least she say she doesn't give a f for the referendum they will just ignore it, really shouldn't surprise anyone it 's something the Lib/Dems do, getting rid of Uni fees then going back on their manifesto promise.
I don't think Johnson has the ball's to go into a coalition with Farage, Farage has told the Tories it is leaving with no deal or he and the Brexit party won't join forces, and although I do believe Johnson does want a deal it can't have the back stop in it.
