Lets' be honest after making the call to hold the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and all that goes with that shocking decision changing the dates, playing games in the evening, human rights, the number of death whilst constructing new stadia, etc not throwing Russia out of the World Cup is hardly a big deal to FIFA, this has not finished by any means IMO I see all countries uniting and telling FIFA they will not compete against Russia in any game of football anywhere in the future until this situation is resolved in a civilised manner.

You have to ask why those NATO countries on the Russian border have chosen the NATO route instead of the Warsaw Pact route, maybe they see the democracy/freedom these other countries have and don't want anything to do with Communism.
