Jiddy as far as I am concerned the projects speak for themselves, Deckers Nanushuk presentation only strengthens our plans for a conventional farm out, modern 3D on Icewine & Yukon Gold ( before even paid for) and of course upcoming HRZ flow tests which I am confident will give the BOPD we need. I'm not over worried when we blow, logic (based on Belisce's work) would suggest a lot of the placing shares have now been off loaded, so unless the MMs carrying stock (unlikely) a continued run of buys will force the MMs to move the SP upwards in an honest world :-) GLTA

sprintman I agree, we have seen occasions when SP has been allowed to move for no apparent reason.

despite the ratio of buys to sells we have only traded about 0.5% of all our shares today, for those of us experienced in AIM we know who are in control here, do not try to apply small private investor rationality to the activities of the market makers, if they see a way of increasing their profits by messing with the spread and or shifting the SP up or down a gear they will do it. very happy to see a gentle sustainable lift, why make it easy for the traders. Invested in the venture ( all three of the of them) , DW has played a blinder, choice of jv partner and project, best use exploration credits in time available, selected lease purchases, planned activities and budget control :-)

18M or so traded that's about 0.3% of all shares, good to see the MMs release ever so slowly the shackles but lets not get carried away. past history suggests we will be well into operations and nearing results before it starts charging, unless some other external influence appears. IMHO We be very happy if proved wrong :-)

SeaHawk think intention was to treat Icewine#2V as a science well and to see what flowed naturally gaining as much data as possible, the well did not behave as expected but then again was that surprising. Don't think the company ever talked of a "gusher" rather 50/50 Going over old ground achieves very little, of course the jv knew the risks of going unwinterized, people like Erik Opstad are very experienced and competent oil men, we will have had discussions consultants and operational advisors also, we are not the experts, THEY are. I and many other long termers did not jump in September 17 and in fact took advantage of the low SP at the tail end of last year as did I expect many newcomers some of whom will have made their money and now be long gone.

SeaHawk has always been a wait and see attitude in relation to operations, commencement (spud) has never had much of a positive impact here, despite the legendary ex posters who claimed it would be "a given" before abandoning ship to become naysayers. Sure there will always be new punters, of course we do have some longer term investors looking to derisk, how big that window will be is anyone's guess. We (the market) just need a signal. Very impressed with the Decker Nanushuk presentation understand why COP advancing towards Heavenly & Malguk, backs up Steve Staley thoughts on conventional oil, sure we will be discussing with author.
