If the anisotropy is low then you can put the laterals in any and all directions as the frac will not be forced down one particular plane of stress.
Suggests the HRZ is very frackable and a horizontal would be effective.
No oil geologist though, perhaps those with better knowledge can comment.

Franklin Bluffs gravel pad is 365 days a year site, no need for tundra winter conditions or ice roads etc.

mikemike you are correct about GBP, they entered Alaska with a lot of noise and spent big particularly on 3D & LIDAR, started as shale drillers and then changed to conventional, 3 wells no definite results it appears from any, the last drill Alkaid ended in farce with Nabors taking them to court and DNR fining GBP, think a big mistake was to rely on exploration credits flowing on a regular basis from DOG obviously no contingency plan and letting it appears geologists run the drilling programme, by the time they had some drilling men in (Mike Mason's team) they had no money.

Certainly Horseshoe is going to be drilled this winter and I expect oil to be "discovered", hopefully we will also be a position drill the Western Fairway this winter.
So we will be a lot more certain about things come next Spring I believe.
