last 3 days have seen 338M shares traded, to put that in context that is more than we did in the months of May & July.
less than 20M traded on AIM today, will be interesting to see what happens in ASX & Chi-X tonight.
Always interested in the market capital debates & SP debates but surely they are both ultimately the same thing and interdependent on number of shares in issue.

If you have not done so suggest you listen to the PMO presentation, you will need to register but it is just an email address, its enlightening and also confidence boosting, plus they talk about the fact 3 ex BP people are on the board and how they have costed and future strategy.

HRZ is just about taking sidewall cores at this stage, probably very valuable in terms of analysis but this well is primarily about conventional oil and potentially lots of it :-)

since 12th Sept (placing announcement) 717M shares have been traded, so ~half are buys and until yesterday daily volumes had been very low, so common sense would suggest that vast majority of placement shares remain in "sophi" hands.
How long that will remain so? Will not be in their interest to destroy fledgling SP recovery I would imagine by offloading mega batches.

Hu11 do not disagree and I have done the sums in terms of trades across the three main markets since 12th Sept that support the fact that the majority of those 540M shares have not yet been traded.
However is it a definite that we will have to churn through 500M shares? do the "sophis" always just "drop" or will they potentially hold longer, have memories of previous placings were it has not been crystal clear and "drops" have been relatively small and over a period, after all why destroy the SP if you still have shares to sell.

Lti did not get it right ultimately he sold at a loss, I have derisked at times when profitable for me from the first Repsol spike in 2015, and throughout the Icewine drills and the Abman frenzy.

13:43 many have never been invested or if they were sold out long ago, one thing is for sure their posts are not made for any altruistic reason or often on the basis of any great knowledge about Alaska it's exploration seasons, all year production, permafrost and costs of extraction.

Not knocking OW obviously has some knowledge - Just be cautious
Chance of success - are we talking that we will find oil or actually the chance of commercial success?
Looks positive at this stage based on this being an appraisal of an existing discovery, plus our own analysis based on modern 3D and seismic inversion, plus, plus the fact that Premier have vetted and obviously liked the odds.
BUT until we drill and flow test there must always be risk that the discovery will not be commercial.
Not certain how relevant Icewine#2 is to with Charlie#1 different targets, even if we are taking cores from HRZ.
