Good to see the faith many of our US friends and fellow investors have in EEENF.
A few years ago I visited an ex USAF base at Thorpes Abbot in Norfolk, it was humbling and why I have little truck with some of the anti US sentiments that occasionally appear on here.

AOGCC will be monitoring all events at the drill site via daily well reports and more than probably physical visits, take at a look at any of the well histories available via GMC and you will see that nothing happens without their approval.
As for weather all looks very good at the moment but no one can tell what may occur in the next 8 weeks, Umiat -18 rig stopped on site until 27th April, 2013 so we should have time to drill, wire log and flow test (if warranted).
Next posters will be saying Merlin-2 should come with a guarantee of commercial oil :-)

04/27/13: Fill annulus with completion fluid. Shut-in well. Blowdown lines and rig down Well
Testing equipment. Remove insulation and heat trace from lines. Rig down injection
pump. Rig down tank farm. MW = 6.8 ppg.
4/28/13: Continue rig down of Well Testing equipment. Rig up crane. Pull and lay down
sucker rods and insertable PCP Pump. Run TWC. Nipple down Rattigan and Master
Valve. Nipple up full tree. Fill tree with diesel and test tree to 5,000 psi (test OK).
Remove valve handles and secure tree. Clear Umiat #18 ice pad of well test and
support equipment. MW = 6.8 ppg.
4/29/13: Rig down offices and storage tanks from Umiat #18 ice pad. Move out well testing
equipment and spill connexes from Umiat #18 ice pad.
4/30/13: Rig down scaffolding around Umiat #18 wellhead. Clear final equipment from Umiat
#18 ice pad.
5/01/13: Clean and clear Umiat #18 ice pad. FINAL REPORT.

16:09 When the Umiat-18 drill was conducted the rig stopped on the ice pad until the 27th April before being shifted to Umiat Airport in prep for the Umiat-23H drill the next year.
2022 has been exceptionally cold which does mean that the tundra is frozen deeper than usual so we should at least be OK for operations until mid April, what kills the ice and snow roads are the ever lengthening hours of daylight.
