Gold--I entirely agree with you. ANGUS is a smaller player in the Weald than UKOG and yet seems to be flavour of the month!! Granted I would think SOLO sell off has had some effect but would have hoped the good news flow we have had over the past few weeks would have outweighed the SOLO effect---obviously not. However surely this cannot continue with ---IMO-- imminent further excellent news on the Kimmeridge?? BTW I am one of the good guys--I hope. I always try to comment in a rational way--even having little knowledge of the oil industry. Bit like Bargain Hunt on BBC---I pick up knowledge and tips along the way!! GLA

Double--I do have to agree with you. Whilst the likes of ANGS and ALBA have other interest outside oil, there is no exceptional news from either of them lately on their other projects and yet we see ANGS steaming away, ALNBA not so. Surely UKOG has not been spooked by BB--these things happen and we move on--and move on we have yes HH maybe the only site as yet, that UKOG are involved in, there will be others no doubt, so why did we see 11p briefly at BB then as you say right down to where we are today. EVERYTHING is going right for UKOG at present so we need someone with a good brain in finance to offer us a clue as to why we are we we are and not way up around 7p/8p for example. All very well for people to keep saying we are on the verge of skyrocketing--well I tell you I have been watching this for so long my vertigo has gone!!! I believe in UKOG and what SS and his team are doing, they could not do any more, but for some reason the market does not --as yet--buy into it WHY???

Gunny---you may have noticed that I posted nearly the same earlier, one of lifes mysteries---UKOG seems to be getting all the good news and yet continues to flounder??

Excellent number of tankers in just a TEST--bring on commercial!! BUT ANGS seems to be reaping the benefit on the sp and not us--they are now up 12%!! Maybe our turn soon?? PLEASE!!

Eyes--its an opinion and it is not just ME on this board--I am responding to some good comments earlier!! Some of us are the GOOD GUYS who may make better politicians--but we shy away--and just make our OPINIONS known when we can!! Not a lot else to chat about on here----we had a Budget yesterday--remember??

Rodders---Agree we need a GOOD PM---TM really got in by default, was not a willing PM, Cameron jumped ship and never to be heard of again. These days IMO no politician comes over as being sincere, listens to the rank and file, Good people tend NOT to become politicians, politicians NEVER answer a question instead going off at a tangent. Seems a trend that no country has good solid politicians, and a s a results countries are divided. Look at all the countries that have divided opinions and no great majorities in Parlt. UK Frans, Spain, Italy Germany even Australia and USA BREXIT was the worst thing to happen to the UK in modern history and it will take years to recover----2008 banks nearly bankrupted UK and 10 years later little has changed and Brexit will make UK a poorer country for years to come IMO??!!

Thanks for your reply about SCC. Some good debate this morning. No I do not believe that SCC have mis managed their money, however history tells us there have been occasions when this has happened--NO--too many Councils now getting into financial problems. They have obligations to provide essential services and it is a very tight squeeze for some. As you say I am in a fortunate position to having enough money to feed and clothe me and my wife--some and a growing number are not in that position. Always said if I came into enough money I would try and help the needy and homeless---there for the grace of god for many of us. I have been very near there years ago!! As to politicians and austerity!! a load of BULL!! UK policing, health and education to name three desperately need more funding and if UKOG and the likes can help in any small way to lessen the buden for SCC and WSCC that must be a step in the right direction. BREXIT?? Never Never should have happened. Govt now spending too much time on THOSE discussions when they should be spending that time on HOME issues. NOT right the British public should have been asked to make a life changing decision and then be fed a load of lies by BOTH sides in he debates leading up to the referendum. POLITICS GETS IN THE WAY OF PROGRESS!!

I do not think UKOG HAVE to reply to DOR RNS as much of its content is already known and issued by UKOG already. RNS´s cost time and money to issue and have to be approved so I cannot see UKOG rushing to issue an RNS today in response to DOR. IMO a lot of data has to be looked at before UKOG issues the next RNS---it is not just a matter of telling us how many barrels of oil they are getting out from each zone--but what it means long term, and how it may affect their plans for further wells. Just my take on it.

Rodders---Agree I did note that SCC are cash strapped and is that mis management or lack of govt funding to provide essential services?? Many County Councils around the UK are in a similar position and it will be interesting to see the interpretation of what Funding Local Communities really means. Does it mean for schools, police, roads etc or for really local funding like a Village Community Hall or play equipment for the village green? there is a vast difference between the two. Pure Class---i guess you mean NOT my comment but as in Class distinction?' Ha ha!

Starbright-- A million a year is not to be sniffed at for local communities,--However I think we cannot calculate, at this stage, how much money they will get--. many more wells envisaged so oil flow SHOULD be a lot greater than these few tests currently being carried out and therefor income flow to those communities should be a lot higher than 20m over 20 yrs--Maybe??. Whatever they get it is a bonus and badly needed by SOME communities. Must remember too that these communities are in the Tory heartland and not that badly off.??

Dinero--I think it is quiet as Dorie is not posting now--maybe he HAS been banned---he and Sting69 were having a right ding dong last night, to the point most were getting p---d off and reported Dorie So maybe he has gone now and things can get back to some sense of normality?? Also I think most things have been said about UKOG, share price and The Weald since the last RNS, so it is a bit of a waiting game until the next news, and then the next round of conversations!!??
