The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Rodger,
Maersk Voyager has completed the ultra-deepwater Ondjaba-1 exploration well in Angola’s Block 48. The operation started in October 15th..ish (don't have the exact timeline), however, "after completing drilling operations, the Maersk Voyager will mobilize to Namibian waters to drill the Venus exploration well for TotalEnergies". So looking at start to finish schedule... circa: 30days?
The VERY INTERESTING bit is:..."The contract includes an option for a further well"...... ;)

Morning chaps, good to see LTH's still about :)
Off-topic for a bit.. but some of us more 'savvy investors' will be keeping a close eye on Total's Venus-1 exploration well off Namibia ;)
The Drillship 'Maersk Voyager' is currently heading for the location. ;)

Interesting read this morning ;)
"Brent Crude prices could rise to as much as $120 per barrel in the first half of 2022 due to the global gas crisis, booming air travel with international flights returning, and a comeback of Asian demand, Bank of America says."

Watched L2 all day yesterday for an opportunity to reduce my average, but like today, the VWAP is still on a downward slide...hmmmm
As the saying goes; 'every penny is a prisoner'... even at these levels :o

L2 looking good 1v5 (blue) and currently trading above VWAP for a change ;)
For the 'newbies' all you need to know (see links).

Now, with BritNRG on a surefooting and I'm sure on its way to a very profitable future we 'MNRG' will take a backseat and collect 53%+ on profits.... Ching-ching! ;)
Hopefully RG will now be fully focused on the Kyrgyzstan Uranium U308 project - which you can be sure a certain Christian Schaffalitzky will be all over it! ;)... IMO this will be massive, providing the elections go favourably ;)
Also, not forgetting Gold Ridge....that's been dragging on now and I'm sure Rolf will want to get that monetised and off his hands ASAP.

Pierpaolo Rocco has 'resigned as Director of the Board at MNRG.
There is NO mention of his departure from BritNRG. Indeed he has just updated his LinkedIn profile. (Stating times of Director at MNRG - ending Oct 21). Presently, PR is now Chief Executive of BritNRG.
Happy days ;)
ATB...
Reg, if your reasoning is correct, he would've only needed to resign from BritNRG and retain his MNRG directorship.
On the other hand.. if you are correct and the 'asset/company' has indeed been sold - on condition of retaining RP in his current role - then hence a 'conflict of interests' would be an issue if he retained his directorship at MNRG ...as MNRG still holds 50% of BritNRG...
But surely, the market would've needed to know this prior to 'sale' of BritNRG ??

What I'm waiting for is the Kyrgyzstan Uranium project to gather steam (pardon the pun).. ;)

BritNRG sold 3,780 barrels in July at an average price of US$73.88 per barrel (equivalent to US$280,000 of gross revenue). Similar levels of sales were achieved in August with monthly oil sales projected to exceed 4,000 barrels. https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/959146/metalnrg-says-britnrg-is-now-profitable-following-operational-improvements-959146.html
Rolf mentioned 'in a subsequent podcast' his goal for BritNRG (UK O&G assets) is to achieve a modest circa 1000bpd year on year.

TBH I was expecting a lot more dilution as per the 'Circular to Shareholders' (27 November 2020) regarding our new prospectus for the 'reneged' LVG Acquisition deal.
On a positive note (not that we need one) UK CCS is now officially back on. With our 'Whisby CCS proving ground' and with our EQTEC partners we are definitely on the starting grid... for massive funding from the UK & O&G authorities... ;)

This is what Rocco (BritNRG) and Rolf (EcoNRG) - and dare I say it Christian Schaffalitzky are talking about...
https://www.ft.com/content/5d2e52ff-638a-44fa-a49c-447c739fa6c6
"An example of this could soon emerge in Humberside, in northern England, where a consortium hopes to create a net-zero cluster of companies using CCS and hydrogen power. The goal is to build a dual network of carbon and hydrogen pipelines that would serve electrical and industrial plants in the area, connected to a depleted oilfield in the North Sea".
"MetalNRG will be part of the transition to renewable green energy and seeks to invest, develop, and deliver sustainable green energy solutions that help reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to the achievement of 2050 net zero goals. Working alongside EQTEC the Company will have an ideal technical partner with tremendous technical knowhow that will enable MetalNRG to accelerate its route to market and revenues."
I expect we (MNRG) will be eagerly pursuing the MASSIVE funding which will be coming our way from 'Oil&Gas companies and 'National/International' Government authorities in this area... We are already ticking many boxes..and indeed achieving way ahead of the others...(i.e. redevelopment of some of the existing 'depleted' wells to 'Carbon Capture Storage' at our Whisby "proving field").
