Agreed, few companies anywhere on the stock market seem to have such a clear strategy, well communicated to shareholders, and then deliver against that strategy in such a planned and meticulous way. Further evidence that Neill and the team know what they're doing to create a major company for the long term. This looks more and more like the next ARM, building to a multi billion market cap company.

Yes, I've helped today with 65k shares purchased across 5 trades. So much for having had enough for now in my portfolio!

Matt, Aisin Seiki isn't the Japanese company that the RNS on Monday was about. That was found by one of the ADVFN posters but then taken back down so as not to compromise the NDA (as I understand has happened before creating trouble for VRS). At 100k employees Aisin is too small!!! Of course they could still be working with them but just not announced anything yet.

Hopefully next week's results will provide updates on all the various CA/LOI/MOU that are in play. Aecom news would be very welcome.

Well so far this week of the 48k I've bought 24k have been posted as sells. The last being 11,777 bought at a quid. VRS too heavily weighted now really so buying done for a while.

Tardis, I know Shroder and Tosca were there. Only found out after the formal part so not sure if they asked any questions in the open forum but I don’t think so. I didn’t speak to the Tosca representative and I don’t think anyone else did from a PI perspective. I believe the Shroder guy knew them and had mentioned they were there. Shroder’s were positive on TAP and the BoD. They have been holders for a long time since certainly 60p so we’re not showing a loss. They backed the team to deliver value. They had partly suggested that TAP buyout the ex CEO’s stake to avoid a huge stock overhang for months. No concerns at all, including over Uber, seemed they were in for the long term. No doubt having said all that we’ll get an RNS on Monday saying they’ve halved their stake!

Good to see. Looks to me that Patrick will be straight back assuming he clears his name, which I’m pretty confident he will. Patrick is an out and out salesman. Brian is there to run and scale up the business and ensure delivery of orders etc. The job titles used show that too. They would complement each other well. Hopefully we’ll see plenty more signs the US is moving forward.

Well I can see another buy back announcement by the end of July. At current level of purchase they’ll be through $5m by the end of this week and through the rest by mid July. As they had a board meeting before the AGM and assuming monthly at a similar time then c15 July would be the next one. Given how considered the original buy back was there must be a strategy in play here. They still have $60m net cash to play with.

I don't see many shares out there with the potential of VRS and all the actual company news has been positive throughout. I've taken this week's drop to continue topping up adding another 70k. If VRS only deliver a fraction of the potential the share price will still be way higher than current levels.

I'm assuming they'll give notice of the results next week and announce them mid July, same as last year. Looking forward to the detailed update on each MOU/LOI/Collab Agreement.

There is no news. He hasn't been convicted or found not guilty. It's just a bunch of morons trying to disrupt the business / share price and no doubt short it.

Every time they issue an RNS like the one today it just rewards them and encourages them to carry on. Should have just ignored the 'speculation' and notified once the trial has concluded and any action as a result of that.

Personally it looks like Patrick is going to clear his name and we'll all move on with a great VP in the USA bringing in the business.

Don’t think you’ll go far wrong guys with those buys. Feels like we need the aecom news now with a material order in the message. I’m pretty sure the broker note is tied to this too as without sizeable order it’s too easy to dismiss the story on all LOI/MOU and no revenues. Investors Chron this week shows how lazy many are in comment and analysis. VRS seem to be the clear leader and the one to back. I get regularly amazed at the myriad of applications of Graphene. It’s going to be a huge force in many many future developments. I’ve gone from 27k shares at the start of the year to just under 250k so looking forward to news arriving!!!

Upthejunction, I think you need to work on your maths, if most of their business is tied for 3-5 years and they win 35m of business in a year and they do that each year they’d have 105m vs 80m today. If they win 80m a year as you suggest they would have 240m of annual revenues or 400m if everything was 5 years. If all was 3 years they need to win 27m each year to standstill. Don’t get me wrong, there are still plenty of risks here but your investments will be more at risk if you don’t improve your maths.

Agree with you both. It does seem stronger in the afternoon. I used to think it was as day traders selling in the morning and buying back in the afternoon but that theory seems more unlikely of late as the share price hasn’t done much at all. I can’t really complain as I too have topped up at 120 and 124 over the last couple of weeks. Think it will come down to the RNS with material order before we get a step change from current range. I expect new all time highs from there on.

I don't think I've seen the IG Bid/Offer change all day so far. 127 to sell, 129.5 to buy. Don't think I've seen that at all in the last few months since I've bought in here.

It feels like everything is going in the right direction with VRS so will look to add a few more this morning. Hopefully visible confirmation of progress will follow soon.

Further top up today after yesterday's fuss. Shame I missed the spike down but £40k sorted between 117.9 and 120. As ever had to split across a number of trades.

By the way seadoc Patrick isn't on the board and if Neill knew beforehand it's no great matter (unless he's found guilty in June at which point he'll go). I suspect Neill took a judgement call that he was by far the best candidate he could secure and given the amount going on couldn't wait until June to have him start. That's why he's CEO, to make difficult calls. A bit of fuss this week but hopefully Patrick in the business and delivering. We all know a decent RNS of a big order and this part will be history.

AL75, can you let me know how the charts factor in newsflow? It seems to me that no chart will forecast the share price movement of VRS until it reaches maturity in its business, which is years away. You'd be better to statistically forecast newsflow on deals based on historic RNS releases and studies on time to market for new technological developments.

I certainly didn't look at the charts before investing here but took a view this could be the new ARM.

Not sure really. I haven’t seen any of the potential rival bidders rule themselves out yet. I would hope the trade bidders would give it a go on the basis if it goes private they won’t get a chance at anything like the current price, especially as the bid looks very credible. Not sure over £6 is likely though.
