The Southern Gold announcement the other day indicates that they were due the amount in cash and haven’t received it. Seems to me BMV are over a barrel here and up for a good old rogering as they absolutely have to cut a deal here (because they can’t create value otherwise and anyway are contractually obligated to pay up in cash, not in some yet to be determined mix of unlisted securities in an “offer of settlement”) and Southern don’t. There’s no reason for Southern (which is currently cash backed) to go easy on them.

Not sure I’d back the BMV management for having got themselves into this default position by triggering the JV exit provision without having the readies available.

While the underlying project is quite nice, I’d see a significant downshift in BMV share price before this JV thing is resolved.

They have in previous arbitration rulings.

They get EU funding every year. They will have to abide by any ruling imo

If you have read Kosovo law on foreign investment then the case for Fox is very strong. Best they settle out of court !. Buy and hold imo
