Sadly I agree. We have been duped and lied to too many times. The sensible people got out a long tome ago.
But that said there must be a reason for these new people to get involved at this stage aside from any monetary value they’re looking to squeeze from the company. JB came across as very knowledgable at the investor event last year and had lots of enthusiasm about the Slovenian asset. I am just hoping there is a long-term recovery plan about to be revealed to us.
Well I’m never getting involved in an AIM company again. No retail investors should touch them and they should really only be marketed to sophisticated or HNW investors. No wonder Neil Woodford’s fund went down the pan.
Alwaysup, I fear you may be right and the BoD is simply pinning their hopes on a positive verdict on the appeal in order to restimulate wells PG10 and 11. It explains why none of them have purchased any shares following the shareholder presentation last year. We have yet to hear what the “promising opportunities” are regarding the 3D seismics which they discussed on the last shareholder conference call. The way shareholders have been treated by the BoD both past and present has been very poor. I appreciate the need to tread careful when it comes to the Slovenian authorities but I am finding the the BoD’s apathy (perhaps even disdain) towards shareholders inexcusable.
