Rork you put cox2 in th same breath as thalidomide. But both drugs are still used especially cox2(naproxin)they were never more dangerous than Cox1(ibuprofen) there were some deaths but no more than would have happened with Cox1 but the witch hunt started as the old ladies had had there meds switched. You can but cox2 otc now just using trade names. So your auguments seems to fail on both points. But I can see where you are coming from and I do believe the first affimer released will be checked rigerously or used with terminal patients in trials proof of concept type thing.
Wiggly - I have seen the 5% estimates for immunity guess. What is tgat worked out on??? They have no testing protocol to measure at all. The antibody test is only availible to hospital staff or private purchase. All of the asymptomatic people that wouldn't even have known that they were sick won't be tested why bother for them. So it will be a guess and modelling on countries that have reported there best guesses to date. Without a poc test they are all at a loss how to return to normal. Additional post viral testing will have to be brought in. An LFt for post infection markers will provide data needed to reduce covid 19 panic
Spinnaker you make a great argument but finance and economy will outweigh risk. This government has had herd immunity as it's goal. We will find out how well it has done with the second wave. Where all the other countries tgat went straight into lockdown could have some serious issues with the next round of waves. All this will not effect poc testing it will really highlight the need to protect the general public with a quick and easy test. POC will open up the world
Jogj do you mean the electrolyte or V as at present we are not producing any electrolyte unless 1) vanchem is moonlighting without an rns, or 2) east London is finished and we are operational or 3) they are not planning delivery until at a guess October(happy to be corrected on date Covid delay)
Ytss I would think that if you suppress the sp of competition, people may look and wonder why no one is investing etc while you use peoples awareness of lithium batteries to get first mover advantage in the grid scale storage arena. When you see the money/figures being talked about what's a few million to suppress competition while you can hedge against rising lithium/company prices easily if they are winning contracts.
The only problem is lithium catches fire/needs replacing in 3 years or needs a vrfb to make it work better.
I hope I have interpreted you correctly Orphidian
DM83 I think with the airlines we are all looking about getting customers on board. But the airlines have a duty of care to staff also in dentist surgerys . It is only a matter of time before the unions get involved. One sick/dead air stewardess and BOOM
Alfa do you think that or Ice rises in China are steel demand based as Europe is lagging 2 months behind or people are now seeing the V needed for these batteries in China or finally just reduced **** product for maintenance? Good to see you back here
