Exact opposite way I thought the SP would go this morning.
Thanks for the replies. I understand CINE have enough liquidity till July 2021 but correct me if I’m wrong that has never been stated clearly in an RNS. While Mooky does have a good track record these are extraordinary times and shareholders could be tapped for finance. I want to get in at these levels but in my opinion there is still downside risk. 10 or 20% dilution is not to be sniffed at if I invest today and a rights issue is announced next week.
I bought CINE pre COVID so my losses are looking rather unhealthy. Considering putting a fair chunk in here at these levels but what are people’s thoughts on a rights issue? And share value is diluted. Where to then? In my opinion it is a very real possibility considering debt levels etc.
My prediction is the SP will drift to 290-300 again. Will climb back up to the 320 mark again towards the 4th of August and the trading update. Dividend cut announced SP will drift back down, but nothing dramatic. If divi kept, SP sees a small boost on the day and we climb slowly from there (influenced by wider market direction).
In my opinion the SP is going to drift downwards from here with the rest of the market. Where is the positive news going to come from in the short term? Can see it going to 7.25-7.40. Will reassess then.
Used the opportunity to sell out of GVC after KA announced he was retiring @8.69. Was left questioning by decision 2 days. GVC seems to be following a trend of 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Always good news followed by bad where your left questioning the timing and full disclosure. Retraces significantly every time with a drip downwards. Better off trading this share on its runs of positive sentiment.
I feel there is room for all comments on this board. Analysis or otherwise or is much appreciated. As a 30 year old trying to plan for a comfortable retirement unfortunately comments about playing golf and fishing are not much use to me. Thats the stage I want to get to ??
Interesting info Fat Boy.
It is very hard to read this share at the moment. There is money to be made trading it, but my opinion is long term 3-5 years it is a good bet at these levels. The trick is to control the emotions and not jump in on a rise that falls back the next day.
The 50 day SMA is at €1.62 with the 30 day SMA at €1.63. I am looking to get in at these levels as the ~€1.60 appears to offer minor support. BIRG seems to be tied to the DOW and on positive news in the states this seems to fly. Grabbing the +5% on positive days is very doable but buying in at price levels above €1.80+ you risk it retracing again. That being said it could easily go to €2+ tomorrow and I could miss the boat. But looking at it the last few weeks, its rise and retrace. Rinse and repeat. If it hits new lows I will reassess.
Whats people views on downsides here? Does anyone think lows earlier in the year will be revisited? Been lurking here for a while and I think long term 12 months plus BOI is a good bet on the Irish and U.K. economies. In my opinion sentiment is beginning to pick up as long as a second wave doesn’t present itself.
Coronavirus restrictions starting to lift in Ireland. I personally think the lows will be 1.25-1.50 range for a while with occasional rallies up to 2.50. Don’t think it’s anyone’s interests for the SP to completely collapse further from here. As a bet on the Irish & UK economies to recover in the next 2-4 years don’t think you can go too far wrong. Trading this share alongside Blackrock will be down to luck.
Bought in today. Cant see it going much lower. The Joker, Zombieland 2, Frozen 2, Star Wars by Christmas with Regal restructuring. James Bond in 2020, things have to start looking up.

Short appears to be closed but French Air Traffic control making its dent today.
Citadel Europe opened a short position on Tuesday. Will be interesting to see which way it goes. Doubt we will touch previous lows.
