It was interesting to go back to what James was saying two months ago, and he let a major clue out of the bag.
The subject of Anzu came up and he explained how he was quite happy that they had signed a deal with a big player because it gave up on any neutrality, he said that other companies will now not be interested because of who they have partnered with, but here`s the interesting bit. He said `they will not be able to get deals with the likes of Dentsu Aegis or Omnicom`!
Seven weeks later Bids announce the partnership with Dentsu Aegis.....so is Omnicom next on the list?
Omnicom are a S&P 500 component with a Mcap around $16bn.
They`re a global media, marketing, advertising, digital etc company with 78000 employees in 100 Countries. In 2014, Omnicom was considered the second largest advertising holding company in the world by The Wall Street Journal.
Here`s another interesting bit....In 2017, three Omnicom Media Group agency networks competed at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
I know it`s 2017 but there are plenty of other references to the Festival on their Wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omnicom_Group
Isn`t that where James went as soon as he got back from the E3 expo in June.
Well maybe I`m just looking for spurious hints and connections, but it was good to listen back on where they were then and where we are now.
I have absolutely no doubt that the serene swan`like feeling about Bidstack just drifting through the candelstick chart, moving this way slightly and that way slightly lately is being driven by the engine room under the water going at full steam ahead.
Must be due a bit of news methinks!
