By the way, that raise of £950k was a brilliant move, reacting to the circumstances at the time....and now puts ECR in a very solid position on the cusp of proving up the potential at Blue Mountain.
Without that raise, and the salary sacrifice policy, it would have put the company under pressure to be able to fund the BM production project.
James (the liar) keeps claiming it was devious, I think it was a very clever move in the circumstances, establishing the financial foundations to grow the company.
It is well known in stock market circles that if a company raises funds to keep the lights on and pay wages then its best to avoid.
But if they raise funds to invest, expand, and grow the company to the next level, then its a whole different story......and James (the liar) knows this.
The only people who got the right hump with the raise are those who bought in hoping for a short term big profit on the tax loss deal, but the BOD at ECR played a blinder in supporting the longer term investors by bolstering the coffers when they were offered the chance....circumstances considered.
Today we sit in a much more beneficial position.....for longer term investors, while the traders will be eagerly awaiting the confirmation RNS of a decent gold discovery, with a low cost recovery plan.
It may be quiet at the moment, but its going to get noisy!
