My opinion is based on the almost complete absence of any evidence to show that the board has any plan to turn its discoveries into cash, either through a sale (as Bewarethebrokers suggests) or by establishing a mining unit. The strategy it has laid out, the same as last year, is wholly based on further exploration and drilling to prove what's there. Some of that is necessary of course, but it is a strategy without focus. It would like to 'monetise' its 'key' assets, but for the past two years it has not told us how it plans to do this, so I have come to the conclusion it doesn't know. The primary job of the Chairman therefore is to bring onto the board and perhaps in an executive role one or two people who do. Failing that the chairman should be replaced, which is why I have voted against his reappointment. This lack of focus is a common failing in small companies, especially those, like GG, which find it easy to raise (and spend) money.
