Perhaps with Mr Trumps tariff threats, the UK might finally realise that getting some of its own resources (oil and minerals) out of the ground might actually start to become a much bigger priority than previously.

I cannot see a vast supply of lead, copper and zinc being left in Parys whilst tarriffs cost a lot more to import than to set up the mine itself

Interesting times to see if the Government make any decisions to assist with the Critical Mineral Fund .

Perhaps UK stocks to rise next week as a lot safer than certain other countries at the moment
