Depends if you are in for a long time or not I wont be touching any income from this share for at least 6 years, So as long as they can afford the divi and dont go bust it can stay low,The whole sector is in the doldrums at the moment but I am sure it will turn good at some point

Of course there are benifits from a low price my re nvest of divi will buy a lot more share now than at 2.30

That maybe but if all they did with the 1/2 billion + that they have wasted on buying back their own shares was buy some Shell and BP shares at least we would have got some income from their big fat divi rather than the f all we got now

Exactly the same price today as 1 year ago , So that 1/2 billion+ share buy back has worked wonders.

You would have thought they could have used the 1/2 billion plus that they have spent in the last couple of years on buybacks to actually buy something to generate some income , Just thrown away money for what good it has done

I spent at least 12 years in this share waiting for the jam tomorow , The only one that got any jam was Robin young all those years of a nice little earner to achieve nothing So up to you but I sold mine as I have no faith in going forward.

Probably a pre divi thing it went to 230 a share before the last divi and the shares are worth more now because of the buy back should max out in about 2 weeks then go down again if the past is anything to go by

Depends on if you are a trader or LTH , If you are a trader it is likely to push the price up and you will make money ,If like myself you are a LTH for the dividends not much benefit, would prefer a special divi myself

Yes it was still suspended then but i don't think i will panic just yet

In 2020 the results didn't come out until wednesday 1st july so maybe we will get them monday

I bought £550 worth of AST years ago and forgot about them after i am assuming a few consolidations I now have 3 shares worth 11 pence so i don't think i will be holding my breath that this lot will acheive anything
