I can understand you trying to give advice on not getting "spiked" but Thursday's RNS say's to me that its as good as a done deal. Maple have been trying to find a buyer/large investor for a while now and the depth of information Graña y Montero Petrolera S.A. have gone into regarding their proposed transaction, shows their intent IMO

If you care to do a bit of research you'd find that news could come anytime very soon that would make Friday's rise look minuscule in comparison.

Your always going to get profit takers & this is a Friday. The price has held up quite well all day, trust me they'll be some big background orders being worked IMO

This isn't like the last one where they stated "we have been approached, bla bla bla". This RNS has names, numbers , £'s & %. Looks highly likely a deal will be done. Worth the risk at this level, GLA BD

The fact the RNS went into detailing numbers, makes me feel that its a done deal - just need confirmation & its party time :-)
