This is a good , well run Company which will survive no matter what happens in the near future .
Constant drip , drip of negative unfounded comments do not help . Joining that club has eroded our confidence , our elected representatives have a lot to answer for .

I do hold these shares , hoping for the best . Being patient with Dragon Oil made a few thousands for us , my wife hoped for £10 , had to settle as the owners from the UAE bought the lot back at £7.50 !

Acting on rumours that Shell were about to get on board with Dragon Oil my wife bought some of the Dragon shares in the late 1990's ; involvement did not happen and a long wait before the first dividend . Hanging on to the bitter end worked out and it paid out quite well . Does anybody remember this company ?

Members , can I ask why you have made your statement ? .

I cannot speak for all ex-pats in Spain but I thought that the UK government paid over €3000 annually to the Spanish government for every adult on the empadronamiento (certificate that justifies that you live in Spain on a more or less permanent basis) . That entitles these people to free medical care .
As for people on holiday and requiring medical care it proves the importance of good travel insurance .

Hello BB , I also voted against the common market (european community) in 1975 . Having recently returned from West Germany it seemed to me that this was not going to work . Had our chance with the Treaty of Rome in 1956 and turned it down then , could have been a good thing to get into the original Coal and Steel concept , signed up in 1957 .
