You don't trash your economy to save the NHS. The value destroyed could have funded health care for over a decade. They should institute population testing in areas of high infection as a matter of urgency. If it is everywhere we can open everything up,if it isn't it's ultra deadly. Either way knowledge is power and better than guessing.

Dear historians we destroyed our society by overreacting to a virus we didn't have accurate mortality numbers nor could be bothered to work them out.
