JL spot on. If we stop using fossil fuel we either get very cold and live a lot shorter or have mass deforestation of the planet. The only alternative to fossil fuels is fusion and that isn't ready. These stupid windmills and solar farms are an expensive con to transfer money from the poor to landowners/lobbyists through inflated energy bills. Actually crowcast since I understand planes far better than you, the Boeing issue might be relate to environmental regs that meant the planes were inherently unstable and relied on conputers for stability as they were trying to improve fuel consumption.
