Speak directly to your broker! If they give you misleading advice that loses you money you have a reasonable chance of being reimbursed, as pointed out by Snooty earlier today. If you trust the advice of posters on this board and lose money you may find that they disappear as quickly as they appeared. Have a great weekend!
Your guess is as good as mine for the rest of January. I believe Scott and his team will have done their homework regarding the type of reception to expect in the US. I remember him mentioning US bio-techs less advanced and with less of a product pipeline than us with Mcaps in excess of 600 Million. Not sure that sort of re-rating will happen over night, but I believe 100%-200% upside from the current share price in the short-term very achievable. all IMVHO
I'm moving my SIPP holding to TD Direct Investing and being issued a Share Certificate for shares in my trading account. When I receive the certificate I will also be moving it to TD Direct Investing. Not sure about ISAs.
I have just spoken to TD for a second time and again they confirmed that YOU CAN transfer Xen shares from HL SIPP to TD SIPP. The important thing is to notify Hargreaves of your intention to do this by the 20th deadline!
I spoke to TD last night and was told that there would be no problem transferring. The fact that HL offer the option to transfer from their SIPP would suggest that it is possible. I will phone them again.
oohmywallet you are incorrect. If you read the schedule letter you should have received, from Hargreaves, yesterday. You will see that option 2 is to notify Hargreaves that you intend to transfer them. You can then contact TD and notify them that you wish to transfer your holding to the TD SIPP. You must notify Hargreaves of your intention to transfer by 20th Jan. GL
Good to see you back just in time to enjoy the ride! Great call, by you, earlier today regarding hitting 6p... I look forward to buying you champagne in Miami when this little beauty finally blows! ;-)
