They'll have to cool her off with some sideways action at some point but if you share our view here then this recent move is just what looked like the beginnings of an inevitable rerate at some point. Yup, I have no expectation of the grades getting any better at the T3 pit but given its size, 1%+ is absolutely fine. It's obviously commercial and all the more so with the additional underground option coming in but I'm just as/more concerned with seeing the project derisked by extra holes maintaining/cementing in the existing overall grade at 1%+ which appears to be in the bag as does the expansion case. Seven more domes to hit in the T3 Complex, there's plenty of scope for higher grades there you would think but again, with respect to commerciality of the project, additional tonnage is only going to help, even if the additional domes they do get a strike on end up knocking around 1%+ too - first news from there in June too hopefully :)

Morning - nice news :) Very solid grades pushing the expansion case towards very likely and should see a significant resource upgrade next month both in terms of total tonnage of copper and (just as importantly imo) project risk reduction via a significant shift of inferred > indicated > measured. Nice to see some underground pit strikes too and a couple of teasing 6% capillaries :) Onwards and upwards :)

The current drilling is on the Seven Sisters (7 buried T3 Dome clones) around the current T3 pit with initial results perhaps around the back-end of June, hopefully with a trading halt ;) The 6% copper area with the additional zinc show is at the humungous T20 Dome to the south which we aim to have drill approval for in July on that newly AEM identified T23 target between T20 Dome and T4. Who knows on the JV corporate action but MOD's consolidation vote is next Wednesday - seems an appropriate time to do something you'd think but time will tell :)

Morning. Interesting to see Rio Tinto looking to exit from Indonesia copper, or at least in part, thought to be on perceived geo/political risk. They look to have a bit of a scuffle going on in their Mongolian interests too. IIRC, that's not the first such move they've made recently and given their recent investment into a central African copper/nickel project, I suspect they may well be eyeing what's going on in Africa's (and one of the world's) safest mining jurisdiction in Botswana with keen interest. They do seem to be building a war chest for a shuffling of their copper investments recently.

Good shout about the zinc, I'd completely forgotten :) That's 2x in the last three years I believe - that'd be a nice find at the other end of our plot, maybe with some nickel and gold too ;)

Damn straight re trusting nobody mate. There's money at stake here, maybe real big money and, sadly, some on this earth will do and say absolutely anything to steal it, particularly the City insiders working the PI boards. All you can do is DYOR and trust your own judgement - this is their turf and they can and will say anything and everything to throw people off the scent with complete impunity - it's only a matter of time until they start deleting posts and all the nonsense we've seen here before but it is what it is and it'll never change, even post-Beaufort. Anyway, enough of the nonsense, back to what actually matters - the fundamnetals story here, bring on that news and let's see if copper can beat $3.3 to set up another rise towards $4 to futher boost our NPV ...

I refer you to my prior post re chaff and flares and this board about to go to the dogs, I'm fine with it and you all need to learn to be ok with it too :) Don't worry about who says what about who, it's all part of the game and in their financial interest to do it the more you rise to the bait dropped by this guy(s) across various IDs :) I just filter em straight away, I suggest you do the same but it's up to you :)
