The biggest multipliers will be given to those undervalued (based on gold in the ground) stocks with *enormous exploration tenements* (1,800 sq km for Artemis?) because the money that will then be thrown at the likes of ARV for further exploration will be hundreds of millions of Dollars as all of a sudden even the extra sub-1g/t metres in the latest drill hole are worth serious money.

Any grade is a good grade at $40k oz - arguably it still is at $7k oz.

Well the real killer move for Gold is if the US officially revalues it to pay off their debt - it's still only worth $42.22 per oz officially - if they want to wipe their debt then revaluing to $40k would do it.

What happens then - anyone not holding Gold/Gold-sensitive instruments is wiped out and ARV opens up at £3.90.

They've done it before, they could do it again, many would say it's the only way out of the mire - of course if you're in "crypto" then you're also wiped out - there's a reason they're pushing crypto onto all and sundry ...

I really wouldn't want to hazard a guess about the $7k number but clearly the cat is out of the bag in retail's and II's eyes re Gold and its likely future so who knows, it could be far more rapid than anyone expects.

I do harbour a sneaking suspicion that with all that could go wrong in markets over the coming year(s) that junior/gold plays may very well end up being the #1 defence against all those other ills due to the likely impact on the gold price if the balloon goes up and the phenomenal impact it may have on the valuations of already undervalued plays like this given the existing/possible future resource.

FWIW - I did tweet this the rother day making reference to my TA bottom number if they were indeed eying my $7k target for Gold and we bounced off that number *precisely* on the 28th October:

BTW, I never mentioned it before but what also caught my eye about hole #1's 5m @ 13g/t is that gold was actually found all the way to 20m at sub 1% grades.

Might that suggest thicker pay intervals are probable? I've no idea but it did occur to me that if much of your "strip" ends up being 0.5% Gold and you're able to sell that for at least 2x what it cost to process then the cutoff for resource/reserves estimation starts to look pretty tasty to the upside.

IIRC - Carlow is both - Titan's hit(s) so far appear to be 30-130m so open pit again.

Costs are always an issue of course but when the market price of what you're selling is multiplying and the mcap hasn't moved whilst majors have 4x bagged then it starts to become a tad irrelevant :)

$8k per oz most likely puts 10p in range here ...

@mickeykay65 - the short-term triangulation I referred to last week is in play and, yes indeed, looking at the intraday it seems to end on/over the weekend so perhaps you're right about a Sunday evening news release ...
