I had a look at the rise last year from 3s to 14s and compared to this one - that last rise was driven by the rising MA50 and after a six week consolidation of the initial move up, it then continued to go up, supported by that rising MA50, for the next nine months until it had 4x bagged.

If this rise is similar in nature/timescale then we should probably expect the SP to consolidate with a floor at 11s, temporary shakes/mass buying aside, for the next month or so and then we'll maybe start to see it pressured up again.

Clearly, the shot here is +7/+11p from a break above 15p to give us that very obvious target of a gap-filling mid 20s number but maybe very much more than that as and when the KoBold JV wheels start turning.

I'm off to Edinburgh for a few days on Monday but I'll keep an eye on what's going on here obviously :)

I was just looking at Breakthrough Energy Ventures (the fund behind Kobold) - other than Bill Gates/Jeff Bezos/Michael Bloomberg/Ray Dalio, there are some other serious names involved there - such as The Carlyle Group ($260bn of assets), Reid Hoffman of LinkedIn, Jack Ma of Alibaba amongst others and, yes, Richard Branson too:

BTW - I haven't mentioned the chart that much here but the monthly is well worth a look IMO - some may well think (as I do) that the mid 20s target looks very viable by the end of this year (a nice open gap on the weekly to fill at c25p ...) but conceivably running to the c35-40p area (long-term +25p Bull Flag breakout past 12s).

Again, just a view, and one I hold but that's why I referred recently to a regular (for moi) swing trade into that zone over the coming months.

Anyway, her money hasn't turned up yet so it's moot for now :)

@pangolin - probably - I wondered if they may try and spike it down to the crowded MAs at 10s but for all I know it never closes below 12p - I've no idea as per but not an ish for a buyer/holder like moi :)

These multiple million share trades @ 12p are catching my eye - cancelled sell at 12.25p from yesterday too - as ever who knows :)

Agree with much of that, however, China run the table now and China's uptake of EVs is, and has been for a long time, near vertical - anything they can do to continue to undermine the PetroDollar/oil ...

Gates, Bezos, Bloomberg and Dalio et al have clearly picked their target commodity(s) and those guys know with absolute certainty which way the wind is blowing in the coming years, that's why they're the World's richest men/biggest hedge fund etc - Elon Musk himself is earning more money from carbon credits from the government than he is anything else!

As has been said, follow the money, those guys have bought into the Greenland play at the very bottom floor - it's what they do and why they are what they are - there's no better bellwether out there.

Our billionaire partners are also, er, "efficient" at avoiding paying taxes too of course I meant to add ;)

6.4% up in the US then chaps - c13.5p - we didn't get their 17p high last week and perhaps we're not going to get their 11s low from last night either :)

I'm intrigued with the new tech aspect of the KoBold venture too, not least because anything that makes exploring/mining more efficient is by definition quicker, cheaper, more profitable and better environmentally - the environmental aspect being voiced by Elon Musk last year when he was touting for giant Nickel offtake agreements for suitably sized resources that were more environmentally sound.

Who knows, with a tax grab and desperate inflation boost well in play by the money guys and governments now and in the future, perhaps demonstrating that Dollar for Dollar your project is less harmful to the environment because of the new tech being deployed then perhaps there could also be tax break efficiencies to be made down the line too - it all helps.

That did make me laugh :D

As for Elon's mates - well ...

It caught the attention of many, that's for sure, hence that amazing volume last week - I guess the read is that the market has a pretty good idea of the numbers for Dundas alone (bottom/top SP/mcap) but Greenland was a complete unknown quantity with respect to how they ever got that realised notwithstanding the jaw-dropping potential.

Dropping that JV news obviously gives you an idea of how and who it could be realised with and is a big confidence building item in its own right amongst all the other assets here.

It's probably the guy who called me a liar for saying I'm waiting for my partner's SIPP to transfer so she can dive in :)
