RE: US market13 Feb 2026 08:20
@DrantleyGicks - unfortunately, everything you see and hear and read is interpretation of one form or another and what looks like something in particular on one share/place/time could be something else entirely elsewhere at another place/time - that's the game, interpretation and it's usually very subjective.
My read on the shake yesterday is buying pressure is relentless and building here as every indicator in the macro is pointing sky high with just a year left to US production and anything could happen inbetween now and then with the SPAC, maybe even a T/O offer from a giant.
There was a broad market shake on Gold/S&P/Copper/everything yesterday and apparently nobody seems to know the reason - well there's only one reason for a shake like that and that's to let II buyers in cheaper as they change strategic horses for the next year or two. Everything is magically recovering today as expected, lots of buying.
My nose told me to off a few at 58p yesterday as I suspected she may bend over for a few pence and lo and behold they dumped her which was a shock to me but I went back in at 53p making a nice 10% in a few hours. The reason I mention that is that I'm also a core holder here for years now but I do slice in and out every now and again but it's very often only my 15 year of experience nose that tells me to do it, I can't necessarily rationalise it so the point being that there's the subjectivity and the infinite complexity of a genuine market at play :)
