Talking of delivering for shareholders - this is Cotec's new CEO:
"Julian Treger's ship has finally come in.
The South African activist's Audley European Opportunities fund has sold a 23.5pc stake in AIM-listed Western Coal to Walter Energy, a $5bn American coal producer, in a $3.25bn cash-and-shares deal.
Already the biggest company on AIM, shares of Western Coal rocketed 203.5p, or 45pc, to 658p on news of the 760p a share offer. It floated on the junior market at 120p in 2004.
Treger's initial investment of £25m soars to around £520m as Walter Energy undertakes due diligence before it buys the remaining shareholding and cancels the Western quote"
20x in three years are rare - player.
