All fair comments guys - fingers crossed it keeps on going when the news drops but what really matters will arrive in six months or so, i.e. if we're anywhere near 200k pa at a sizeable profit per oz.

$2k instead of $1.7k does make a big difference for sure but £30m mcap to £80m mcap in a few weeks based on an interview but without the actual numbers is questionable but hey, I'll take it :)

Still applies though - everyone wants Rare Earths. nobody wants a Rare Earth mine in their own back yard so it'll be Africa and Australia providing them IMO.

The recent Scandinavian discovery doesn't stand a snowball in hell's chance of being delivered - look at the delays for BKY's terrific uranium deposit in Spain, years lost because of tree hugger protests and still nowhere now.

Be nice to get some positive news around the Texas gig.

$600m is a stonking amount of money for any venture in any sector but if you're making strategic moves for your business(es) then you need to secure that supply up front.

Still a school of thought out there that China could tit-for-tat the US ban on chip tech going to China by pulling the drawbridge up again on their rare earths supply - who knows but that really would put the cat amongst the pigeons with such little shovel ready rare earths resource outside China.

Have to admit that if there's talk of them amending mining laws right now then that does rather suggest that they're going to concede to more demands from the likes of MKA.

As ever, who cares about delays but if the deal is ultimately improved by this then all the better/more value on offer.

They're a sovereign state, they can do what they like - there's no such thing as international law, only local laws.

Given that they're super keen to get multiple mines going and have just dropped an MDA for one of those it would seem unlikely to say the least that they're up for stiffing other companies - they would never get another project over the line if they did that.

People will continue to raise the question because they want to accumulate at the lowest price possible ;)
