“Updated Share Capital and Voting Rights
SolGold announces, for the purposes of the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, that the total issued share capital of the Company consists of 2,295,152,615 ordinary shares of 1p each with voting rights.
SolGold does not currently hold any shares in treasury and, therefore, the above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company.”
First Tin got their Aussie lands from Aus Tin , a daughter company of DGR global. Nicks baby is DGR and he has milked that one like a cow. Look at the price of ANW also, it’s been rapped. But Ingos has been looked after by Nick. Mates rates and deals being done. Nick comes out on top and small shareholders get the finger.
Global miner BHP Billiton is likely to reconsider its investment plans in Chile, the world’s No. 1 copper producer, if the government moves ahead with mining tax hikes, according to a report on Sunday.
The company was quoted by El Mercurio newspaper as saying in a statement that higher taxes would make Chile more expensive than other top mining jurisdictions like Australia, Canada and neighbouring Peru.
“We have serious concerns with regards to the new royalties,” the company said. “If the proposed royalty (hike) materializes, we would have to reevaluate our investment plans for Chile.”
Other global miners operating in Chile include Glencore, Anglo American, Freeport McMoRan and Antofagasta

2m shares traded today. Average has been 3m, so my bet is 1m after market will be published t0morrow. This years AGM (2022) will be my last, as it will be for Nick if things don’t move. JV/sell cascalbel concession, don’t do a SXX. Tell shareholders what’s been done with the regional drilling.
Hopefully spin out and keep Green Rock, so we can see what’s under the outcropping at chillanes and to keep porvenir.
Alpala has produced some of the greatest drill holes intercepts in porphyry copper-gold exploration history! So show us the money. I don’t miss the dinosaur on the front of the presentations, showing we may be extinct soon, if we don’t change tack.
Ridiculous is that you think Nick Mather is only a non-executive director, he is the puppeteer of Solgold and has been calling the shots from day one. I’m here only for a ascending share price. Why are you here? Cut the sh it and do the maths. Nick has done a lot of good work and some self-righteous moves. I don’t want to see another SXX. Moving this on this year will be a great thing for the sustainably of the Ecuadorian people. Sell the Alpala concession and keep the regional projects works for me. 4 subsidiaries must be worth something. It’s called business.
Conotetas does hold your breath. Im hoping that President Lasso will force Solgolds hand to do a deal (JV/takeover. I don't care, move it forward). BHP, FMG, Newcrest, Barrick or Coldelco, the list is long.
Solgold can't build this mine. The mine has to be built in this decade. Two years for a French translation.... I dont trust that Ingo will find it easy raising billions. Only a dodgy sales person would say that. I lost trust many years ago. However I feel Darryl is the key for Solgold.
I'm hoping SOLG has been cagey on good news for a reason. RIO Amarillo??? Chillanes/warintza outcropping looks good!
The cash at hand is low, just like our share price.
Time is running out for the Nick and his pay check. See you at the next AGM. The only way I'm going to vote to keep Nick as a director is if our share price is above 41p and has been above that price for a while. I want a deal to be done this year and im not holding my breath.
How are people going to vote in December if SOLG is still around?
My patience is wearing thin. I won’t sell cheaply as I’ve been here too long but I’ll be happy see some old management go at the next AGM. Moller got the boot, who is the next cab off the tank?
Waiting 2 years for a French translation was a joke. Don’t lie to us Nick. Make us money or go. Shareholders aren’t on salaries, so time is money. What drilling has solg done lately. Where are the RIO results! What updates do we have on Moran. Solgold is worth fighting over as I believe in 5 years time copper will be in high demand and the price will be much higher.
Best hole in South America might still be coming haha. I saw Nick Mather at the shops (Mall of Emirates) yesterday buying a top hat and a rabbit. I was buying a pinch of salt. We went snow skiing afterwards. Fun times.
"Let's take the experience of other countries and their solutions in internal conflicts where international organizations and rapporteurs in the field of human rights have been guarantors of an urgent dialogue process."
'The principal is the one who asks for dialogue'
Cecilia Velasque Deputy Coordinator of Pachakutik
“We will leave once the government responds to the 10 lawsuits filed 12 months ago. Everything that can happen to our comrades from the peoples and nationalities is the responsibility of the central State in the name of President Lasso. If it is true that he is calling for a dialogue, but there are no conditions for it to be effective, he does not create the mechanisms to be able to approach and go to a dialogue, how can we go? You have to present the guarantees. It is the principal who is asking for dialogue”.
'Let the full weight of the law be applied'
Miguel Ángel González Ecuadorian Business Committee
“The business sector of Ecuador supports the decision to make a progressive use of force, to protect public order and to go against those who vandalize. We also hope that the full weight of the law will be applied to those who destroy and
threaten the life, integrity or freedom of people. In any case, what we ask and insist is that in these difficult times, dialogue with those who protest peacefully prevails, because they have needs.”
'It is a threat to human rights'
Vivian Idrovo Alliance of Human Rights Organizations
“President Lasso's announcement constitutes a very serious threat to human rights. This puts the life and integrity of the protesters at serious risk. This is to be heard by the Executive power and alleviate the precarious conditions in which the policies carried out by this Government and by the previous one have placed them. There is, on the part of the Executive, an incitement to hatred, to attacks by civilians against demonstrators and the international community must also know and document this”.
'We evaluated the use of pellets'
Patricio Carrillo Minister of the Interior
“The Police will be forced to take a next step in the force level. We are evaluating with the police command the possibility of using shotguns due to what is happening in the streets with the protest.
We can no longer continue to repel, we have to repress with progressive use of force.
If necessary today (yesterday) this new level of force would begin to be used, everything depends on the evaluation we make and what happens in the demonstrations.”

IACHR sees with concern the exacerbation of social tensions in Ecuador
The possibility of an immediate dialogue was diluted. After the gesture of the Government to grant the entry of the members of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (Conaie), there was no similar gesture from the protesters. So President Guillermo Lasso announced that the security forces will apply the progressive use of force.
In the streets surrounding the House of Culture , the demonstrators fought with the Police. Gradually, law enforcement officers began to fire more tear gas canisters. They withdrew the protesters and detonations were heard. In less than two hours, the security forces retook the El Arbolito park. The facilities of the House of Culture were also evacuated.
At the same time, the Minister of the Interior, Patricio Carrillo, announced that, in the future, the progressive use of force will be made with all the advantages that the law gives them.
In this effervescence of violence, the demonstrators entered the Egyptian embassy , ??which is in front of El Arbolito . The Police were able to warn the diplomatic officials of that country and repel the protesters. Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Holguín apologized to the diplomatic delegation of that country.
“Conversations were held with several delegates of Mr. (Leonidas) Iza and in principle a consensus had been reached. However, yesterday's violence, the information we have received today, as well as his public statements show that Mr. Iza's real intention is to overthrow the government,” said President Lasso.
“The National Police and the Armed Forces will act with the necessary means to defend, within the legal framework, through the progressive use of force, public order and democracy, the aspiration of hundreds of thousands of citizens who have demonstrated with their voices in streets and squares throughout the country, their defense in favor of peace and their right to prosper”, added the President .

Regarding this action, the political analyst Saudia Levoyer believes that the paths left to the Government were limited. “It was an almost forced decision,” he said, explaining that the Regime has shown tolerance, but that now it has in its hands to get Quito out of the anxiety that is paralyzed and with its citizens at home, in fear of acts of vandalism around the protests.
Max Donoso Muller, another political analyst, believes that the President has taken the right steps in his message by asking the indigenous people to leave in peace. “What is coming is the progressive use of force in accordance with the law. What is coming will not be easy, but it is absolutely necessary to maintain democracy and peace.”
Dayana León, an expert in political communication, adds that what must come from now on is an immediate agreement with the technical assistance of the High Commissioner for Human Rights . of the United Nations in order to get out of this serious situation.

Ecuador and Chile have resumed talks over the development of the Llurimagua copper-molybdenum project in the Andean region of Imbabura, Ecuador, following years of deadlock, reported Bloomberg News.
Located 80km north-east of Ecuador’s capital city Quito, the 982Mt Llurimagua project is in the advanced exploration stage.
The move comes as demand is anticipated to increase for copper in a clean-energy transition and as Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso intends to develop its mining industry.
Now it’s time for a coffee. It’s 6am here.
If no news or updates are given before the GM looks like I'll be voting against all resolutions. We can't be kept in the dark with the drilling. One thing solgold is lacking is looking after shareholders, keeping us in the loop and happy.
Well I hope it’s worth the wait for the update on Porvenir. Hopefully good news is coming.
It doesn’t worry me if no bid appears this month. I’ll like to see FMG accumulate some shares in Solgold, to put the ****s up BHP.
Yep. Buddy5 goes on filter. More Green.
Now back to Solgold. Atlantic lithium delisted their gold so it’s possible that SOLG delists Rio Amarillo or Porvenir (Carnegie Ridge/Green Rock), before BHP/Newcrest takes a stab.
