Has there been some news or press release that I have missed that has caused the share to drop like this. Or is it just the market movements.
Any insight would be appreciated.
@Theanalyzer thank you for that. Am I correct in thinking that, up to the point the deal is confirmed (if it is) that I can still buy BCN shares and I will get the Zinnwald. That is to say that the .235 / ratio is based on the all the Zinnwald shares BCN hold being divided across all the BCN shares in circulation. Therefor no matter how many BCN shares I buy, between now and the possible completion of the deal, I 100% will get .235 of a zinnwald share for each of the BCN shares I hold.
Just want to be sure of these things before I consider buying more BCN shares.
Much appreciated.
“The Bacanora Independent Directors also intend to make a distribution in specie, comprising the Zinnwald Shares currently owned by Bacanora, to all Bacanora Shareholders (including Ganfeng) on the record date, being the date the Offer becomes or is declared unconditional.”
There are no new shares being created. They are just distributing the ones that they already have.
@ilove Sushi and @thefrogster. Can I also just check this part of the RNS;
Please consider the following statement, in particular the highlighted passage, from the press release:
“The Bacanora Independent Directors also intend to make a distribution in specie, comprising the Zinnwald Shares currently owned by Bacanora, to all Bacanora Shareholders (including Ganfeng) on the record date, being the date the Offer becomes or is declared unconditional.”
What is this stating please in laymans terms.
Thanks again.
@Ilovesushi, that is a very good point. If I increase the number of shares I have but my investment stays the same the average share price would be lower, thank you very much for clarifying.. = )
Bit more clarification needed if someone can help please.
I have both BCN and Zinwald shares. With regard to the Zinwald shares that get issues to me (.235 of a share / BCN share held), how does that translate to what I would see in my trading account. Am I correct in thinking that the number or Zinwald shares I own would increase, but my average price would remain the same as I had before the additional shares.
Thanks all.
@Sushi Lover = ) thank you kindly, that makes perfect sense. And I take it my average price would remain as it was before the additional Zinnwald shares.
Thanks again.

@Theanalyzer, thank you for taking the time to respond, much appreciated.
Can I just check that I have read this news correctly. If I buy a load of shares currently at 67p, am I correct in thinking that when the shares are transferred I will get that 67p per share back +.23 of a zinwald share for free?
Thank you.
Rob
its just how things work, don't try to understand it. Just had it with Pets at home and Luce Co. Great results and then sell off. Its just people taking advantage of the quick rise before anticipated good news. The companies are all sound. Its only an issue if you needed to sell this week. If not, then it will be back up to the £120s and further now there is the "security" in knowing how well the business is going.
There are so many better places to put it; Greenland Gold, Zinwald Lithium. I'm living with my mistake but you can avoid it by taking heed
LC is delusional, he think that no one sees him for what he is.
apologies, they didn't seem to send with the last message.

I got in at 6.5p ??
Is there anything to be concluded from BCN reducing its holding in Zinnwald;
- Was this due to happen regardless.
- Or is it an indication of them likely accepting this current offer and were just trying to get money out of Zinnwald so that Ganfeng Lithium would get less for the same offer?
Thanks very much ????
