Over the moon with the 49% and a free carry on Rustavi and Teleti aswell (assuming positive results). I had prepared myself for Block to maintain only 30% for the initial appraisal of samgori and patadzuli, with anything better than that being a bonus. It seems we have a potential $1 billion dollar free carry now 👍 Absolutely massive for Block. Also the potential long term partnership with this company, I see them being involved with the CCS somehow, potentially buying carbon credits to offset their emissions.... If you read between the lines in the RNS it's all there 😉 The fact is we are massively undervalued at the moment but it won't last long. Superb news today and I'm hoping the next meaningful full news will be on the multi billion dollar CCS project 🚀🚀 well done to the believers and good luck to the traders. This is a 200-300m dollar market cap company in the next 2 years all day long. Onwards and upwards Bloe!

Rlightor, the gas is indeed HUGE and a company maker but I can't get over the size of the CCS opportunity. The more research I do the more I'm convinced that the CCS is worth several billion. 💲 We await revised storage capacity (minimum 150m tonnes) we await official certification, we await details of the feasibility study and commercial agreements, all of these milestones are HUGE.

We have rapid proven mineralisation , multi billion dollar partner, etc etc.

Let's say the CCS is the cake and the gas is the icing 🍰

The XIH licence, which is also subject to farmout discussions, is located immediately to the south of Block's existing XIB licence and covers an area of 486 km2. Seven structures have been identified within the XIH licence and DeGoyler MacNaughton (2023) ascribe a total of 485.7 MMboe of mean unrisked recoverable prospective resources.

Don't forget the following Rlightor. If we only remain at 10% for the farmout with Aspect then we will have an option for the South samgori once the licences have been combined (probably for $1 the same as XIQ). Farmout discussions are supposed to be ongoing for that project aswell.

South Samgori - Further Opportunities

As part of Block's 2023 farm-out of XIB, a portion of the licence, known as South Samgori, was also farmed out to GOGL (with Block and GOGL each holding 50% of South Samgori). Efforts to unitise multiple licences in this area are ongoing in a similar transaction structure to the Didi Lilo/XIQ Combination Project. Block retains two back-in options on any future enlarged PSC covering South Samgori and continues to work alongside GOGL to advance the process.
