Red Rock Resources PLC - London-based mining company focused on Africa and Australia - Says it has been engaged in talks to advance a framework deal with Koto DRC SARL, Red Rock's Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo-based partner company. This comes ahead of a pending result of Red Rock's arbitration case against the Congolese government. Red Rock has an invitation from the DRC head of state's cabinet office to meet on January 22. The company expects that the case will conclude and arbitration payments agreed at the meeting.

We therefore expect a successful conclusion in the near future to our current arbitration, with early payment of any award. The implications however go far beyond these initial victories, and we look forward to a successful future in the DRC and with other ongoing matters.

Should we succeed, we will have put down a marker locally that we are prepared to work in good faith with the DRC authorities and to spend a long time over an extended period, acting always with patience and goodwill, in order to protect our legitimate interests.

We will, in terms of our contacts and possibilities, have used this period to enhance our reputation and position to a point where many opportunities will open up.

Understandably, shareholders have found this a frustrating time, not least because some of the detail of any discussions and difficulties have not been possible to share without compromising the result.

Red Rock Resources Plc, the natural resource exploration and development company with interests in gold, base metals, battery metals, and hydrocarbons principally in Africa and Australia, announces that it has placed 597,014,925 new ordinary shares ("Placing Shares") by a placing at 0.0335 pence per share raising a total of £200,000 before expenses ("Placing"). CMC Markets UK Plc, trading as CMC CapX, acted as the Company's placing agent in respect of the Placing.

The Placing proceeds will be applied to year-end accounting costs, acquisition and transport of gold mining equipment, commencement of gold operations in West Africa, Australian and Kenyan operational and professional costs, and other working capital purposes.

Red Rock Resources Plc, ("Red Rock" or "the Company"), the natural resource exploration and development company with interests in gold, base metals, battery metals, and hydrocarbons principally in Africa and Australia announces an update on the DRC further to its announcement of 6th November 2024.

Over the Christmas and New Year period Red Rock representatives met with various parties in Kinshasa in connection with the pending Arbitration result and to advance the framework agreement with Koto DRC SARL.

In relation to the former, Red Rock has received an official invitation from the Cabinet du Chef d'Etat, which conducted the Arbitration, to a working meeting of the parties next Wednesday, 22nd January 2025, at the Palais de la Nation, with the intention that the matter be concluded and payments arranged.

The Company will provide an update next week.
