WH Ireland has confirmed it will commence a consultation regarding cost-cutting, including possible headcount reduction. The wealth manager said they hoped a wind-down could be avoided, with plans for pay cuts to senior staff also being considered.

The firm said the proceeds of the placing would help it to meet the FCA capital requirements and fund the cost-cutting exercise, which it hopes will provide a stronger foundation moving forward.

Note the word hope.

In reply Chris, I am here to make money in a short period of time,my timescale differs from others.

Also I do not get upset over money,you win you loose that's life.

As of now I am down slightly,nothing to shout home about,if it drops to say 0.1p that would be a loss, but I will see the next 3 months through, hoping for a rise on good news,but if after 3 months and there's no light at the end of the tunnel, only talk,hype and waffle, I will walk and take my losses, its only money.

The Company proposes to provide a strategy and board structure update in July 2023.

So on facts only,they have the rest of today and Monday, can't argue with facts,not even the chimps.

Yes glenfidrich I agree with your post and this is my point also,but more concerning is the regular positive posters,who are not acknowledging it or dismissing it with some spin or sarky comments.

I do believe these paid rampers who,s only agenda is to promote the company are to be wary of. Regular posters will no who they are,the ones who will not have a word said against Alien and have no shares.

I will see this through until real news emerges and I will take my losses or hopefully my gains and move on, because believe me there are some despicable individuals about.

Anyway regardless of Knac,Alien have the rest of today and finally Monday to deliver the July update.

If they don't deliver the implications to the markets actually mean,that this is a company not to be trusted on what little info they actually communicate.

Future dates ,time scales and terms like (near term) means absolutely nothing and who will want to invest in a unreliable, untrustworthy company who can't even deliver a update within THEIR specified timescale of which they are in TOTAL control ,I say this with a heavy heart,actually being a shareholder and not a paid ramper like Cj with no shares.

Lets hope they come good Monday, but yet again it will be last minute and not a good sign.

I have to laugh why even bother discussing it.

Nobody on here has a clue which month the meeting is in , also I believe the Alien board of directors have not got a clue, Also the Knac haven't a clue or care or even know if Alien have submitted anything and Alien haven't a clue if they actually filled in a application form.

Yes Allwinnerspaid, I,m glad you like him steering the ship, unfortunately I must have missed his introduction speech and his updates and his clarity of the position of Alien since he took over in Dec 2022

I must have been out shopping throughout that 7 month period

I have time on my hands,I will take the job Corrie at least every one will know who I am and soon find out what's going on with regular updates, can't wait to announce another share placing and get a load of free shares,for doing very little.
