Agreed. Another four months of deleveraging at these prices should work wonders on the share price. IMO time to lock away the shares and enjoy the summer.

Just my opinion - but most of the sellers have been cleared out at this level and the sp is due another leg up soon.

Hi Romaron - thanks for your reply - I see your meaning now. I too am bullish on Enquest in the medium term. For what it's worth my view on how to play Enquest is to be equal weight ordinary shares and retail bonds. At least until Oct 2023 - pick up some chunky coupon payments every six months (not that different in effect to a decent dividend) and stay invested for the potential upside on the shares. Some jam today, but much more, if oil prices and production hold up, tomorrow. Not without risk but well worth a measured punt.

What is this spurious Hurricane vs. Enquest debate? Hurricane is a busted flush, the fractured basement story has been thoroughly de-bunked and Imho the company is fit only for an orderly rundown. Enquest on the other hand has different problems - it’s debt level has been a drag on any meaningful share price appreciation for many years. With higher oil prices that is now substantially on the turn. Fast forward a year from now and things will look very different.

Yes - the drop is totally overdone. The fundamentals are stil there - always a risky play but plenty of upside opportunity.

Can any one explain the origin of the CPI + 3.9 rises that are being built into BT broadband contracts? I see they have proliferated across many other broadband suppliers also. Has Ofcom removed some kind of price control somewhere along the line.
In itself it must be bullish for a hedge against inflation. I’m surprised that there hasn’t been more written about it - or have I missed something?

With the RB now at par - the market has signalled a strong recovery - IMO it can be only a matter of time before the share price reflects this. Yes trading is thin and the SP appears somewhat manipulated but in the long run fundamentals will out. Time to hold for a decent profit.

Heading back towards pat after today’s refinancing news. With a 7% coupon on these and running to 2023 what is not to like here. Solid !
